Original down pipes 2003 FZS 600 Fazer
Posted by: Just Anne - 11-07-21, 07:42 AM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - No Replies

Hello folks, my son now has my Fazer and has fitted chrome downpipes so the originals are available. These are in good condition, done about 25k miles but bike frequently cleaned and always garaged. They just need a bit of a tidy up.
£75 offers welcome.
Collect from Cambridge or may be able to deliver or meet mid way.

I normally use edge for browsing and if i am not logged into the site the header image is blue and shows properly
Yet when i am logged in the header image isnt showing
I can add the image src codes for both if needed but just wondered if this was just an edge problem ?

cheers

Newbee! Thanks for helping me out FOC-U
Posted by: JulienP - 10-07-21, 08:12 PM - Forum: Introduction - No Replies

Hey everyone, the name's Julien, I'm from county Galway in Ireland. Picked up a 01 Fzs600 as my first 600. I used to mess around with 125s when I was young but this is a different beast altogether.
I came across this forum because I went to change my rear brake pads and figured out the hard way that the previous owner upgraded to a FZS1000 caliper.
The pads were so rusty that I couldn't make out what they were. Of course I bought EBC FA104 pads and did a lot of head scratching as to why they didn't fit.
So anyway, thanks to this forum I figured out what the hell happened! [Image: c66102a3024daed4da131e42845ecf15.jpg]

  FZS600 Rear Brake upgrade.
Posted by: VinceFZS600 - 09-07-21, 10:41 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (4)

Hi,

I’m looking for info on upgrading the rear brake for my ‘98 FZS600.

I’ve seen people on forums mention the fzs1000 rear brake but nobody fully answers:

Do I need the fzs1000 rear  reservoir  & what year one do I need?

Do I need a thicker disc or any supporting mods?

Anyone who can help is greatly appreciatedz.

Many thanks, Vince.

Hello everyone!

I’m Vince, age 29 & riding motorbikes since age2.

I’ve owned a FZS600 since 2017 as my ‘first road legal big bike’ & it’s still my main road bike today!

Mine was very tatty so In the past month decided to give it a bit of a makeover.

It never dawned on me to join a Fazer forum but like anyone, I’ve many questions to ask, known wisdom to share & curious to know how many Fazer's are near me!

Can’t wait to get to know everyone!

Vince.

WANTED, FZS1000 GIVI rack and top plate
Posted by: balti - 08-07-21, 02:07 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (7)

Has anyone got one of these they are happy to part with? just after the rear rack and top plate to fit either a monokey or monolock topbox. Needed asap for a trip next weekend, last minute jaunt with the other half and could do with more luggage capacity than what i can get in my soft panniers... Any help from fellow foccers would be greatly appreciated as everywhere is currently quoting several weeks wait as the Givi racks are all in Italy apparently  :\
