yamaha fazer fzs 600 2003 Rev counter not working
Posted by: neilr - 27-11-21, 04:27 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (17)

Hi

My 2003 fazer fzs 600 rev counter has stopped working, prior to this my speedo was fluctuating between 0-20mph when stationary. I've checked the usual connections but seem unable to find the problem, I'm not sure if the speedo issue is related to the same fault but seem strange that the rev counter stopped after the speedo issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm :groan scratching my head with this problem.

Hi folks. Has anyone changed the pillion footpegs on the !999 FZs600. Mine seem ridiculously small and the missus feet keep slipping off. If anyone did change them which model did they go for ?

Html and formating issue in posts: Request for more infomation
Posted by: b1k3rdude - 25-11-21, 03:35 PM - Forum: General - Replies (1)

Afternoon

Bob and I are looking into this issue that as it stands, a few people are have the issue where -

 • html will get placing into a thread post
 • Or the fonts will be super tiny or have unexspected formatting.
So in order to help us investigate the issue, it would be helpful if we can start by having the following info -
 • Who is having the issue?
 • What OS and browser are they using?
 • What browser plugins/addons to they have installed?
Once we have some users and test cases we can try and replicate the issue. Bob and I currently have multiple different browsers installed so we can test a few permutations.

many thanks

Haven't posted for a bit,had a few problems, but anyway I'm in a right mess,I had to replace the throttle cables on my gen 2 fz1n and a bigger nightmare I can't recall anyway, after 3 days I got them in after loosening the throttle bodies to give me a bit more access.Put it all back together and it runs terrible,it starts ok on choke but as soon as you  twist the throttle it goes onto 2 cylinders and just bangs and will not run right,I've warmed it up so its off any kind of choke but it makes no diff at all.I took the tank back off thinking I must have left a wire or pipe off somewhere but nothing.I haven't got a clue where to look next and wondered if any of you guys might have some idea what I may have done.

  2005 FZ6 Fuel Hose problem
Posted by: Beergoggles82 - 20-11-21, 06:33 PM - Forum: FZ6 / FZ6 Fazer - Replies (7)

Evening,

Apologies for the first post but I've had a bit of a nigthmare tonight. After feeding a cable through to power a quadlock and putting the fuel tank back on one of the hoses got snagged under it and I think its just chopped it in two. I've had no luck as yet trying to see where the other half of it is, and the service manual isn't very clear on where it goes too.

Can anyone give me an idea on where this one highlighted goes too on the bike, no fuel came out when i did notice it but guessing this is because the pump isn't in use with it being off?

And after its confirmed where it does, how easy is it to replace?

LOFO's. Dec 5, Whitstable Toy Run.
Posted by: robbo - 17-11-21, 07:12 PM - Forum: Events, Meets, Ride outs etc - No Replies

Any LOFO's with nothing to do on Dec 5th, it's the annual( although was cancelled last year) Toy Run to QEQM Hospital in Margate. Meeting at Tankerton Rd carpark CT5 2AS and leaving at 1pm. There's a cash collection at the start if you're unable to bring a toy. This will be weather dependent for me, as I'm 60 odd miles from the start, but will be going via a decent caff if anyone fancies a day out, weather permitting. Can sort out a meeting place whenever.
