Hello All,
Just a quick note now that I'm signed up to the club after a few weeks Lurking!
I've just bought a 1999 FZS600, which is naturally needing some work! Have spent the last couple of weeks replacing broken exhaust studs, welding up the centre stand and getting most of the electrics functioning. Next up is the non-working speedo. Have already found a ton of info on this site, checked the rotor and the readings on the sensor wires with a multimeter - it does seem to be the sensor itself at fault. I can't find a new one for less that £120 + shipping!
Does anyone have a used working speed sensor to sell? I'm in South East Scotland so would likely need posting.
I'll post in the for sale/wanted section too! Thanks for any help!
Colin.

Hi
I went to take the fazer out.
It had been lying up for about six weeks or so.
It took a while to fire up and then ran rough it was then i seen the fuel leaking under the bike from what i think is an over flow pipe comeing from the carbs. The bike is 2003 so i reckon it is due a carb rebuild. Can anyone recommend a decent carb rebuild kit. I usually would be looking for one made by all balls. But they do not seem to do them for the fazer 600 . I have seen some cheap chinese ones on aliexpress and i have seen some on ebay but i dont know if the ones on ebay are also cheap chinese also. Or if Chinese is my only option and if they are ok to use. If someone could recommend one the have used or know of and tell me were i can buy it from i would be very grateful. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi all,
Part exchanged my no.2 bike for a newer one with a local motor trader at the beginning of the month. He assured me that he'd deal with the V5 change of ownership for the old bike. I used the DVLA's vehicle check and it hasn't been updated, so I contacted the dealer who said he'd passed the bike onto a third party and would chase it up with them. I've heard nothing for a week & the vehicle check still shows no change. Before the trade in I copied the V5- so I've still got all of the details necessary to do the update online. Question is should I give a few more days and use the online update, giving the details of the motor trader I dealt with?Any thoughts ????Rob

Fazer 1000 corbin seat, £125.00 posted
bought off this very forum a few months back, unfortunately it's not doing it for me as i use lower than stock handlebars with no rise and the position this seat puts me in makes it a stretch to the bars. lovely bit of kit, really high build quality, there's a reason these are so expensive new, i only want the price i bought it for plus postage costs, these are listed at over 600 dollars on corbin's website, so this is a proper bargain.
pm if you're interested
thanks!

| Tubeless tyre valves? |

I have changed many motorcycle tyres in my time mostly with inner tubes. I have never changed a tubeless tyre valve, is there anything I need to know, are all valves the same or a specific fitment (FZS 1000). Plenty of videos on YouTube on changing them but don’t want to go to my local stealer to be charged a fortune for two basic valves. :o
