Sadly it has been forced on me to give up riding and driving due to suffering a mini stroke which has caused permanent damage to part of my eyesight so no more riding or driving. I consider myself to be very lucky having only to have had a very limited outcome from the stroke unlike some of the other patients I saw when I was in hospital for two days.
As I have no longer any need for bikes and gear I will try and list all my gear and two bikes in the near future in the for sale section but anybody is interested before I will supply information on an individual basis.
Bikes Fazer 1000 2002 14.5k miles, Husky te410e project bike, boots tcx size 44, New Wolf gloves R600 medium.
There are other items including soft luggage I will do my best to list asap. Some are on ebay and gumtree at the moment, I am away for the first week of October so any deals will have to be quick or wait for my return.
I will miss the biking but reality is what it is so I have now excepted the life style change that has been forced on me. My next powered transport will possibly be an electric mountain bike depending if I am still able to ride a push bike. I am looking at the Haibike range so if anybody has experience of these sort of bikes or other makers models I would be most grateful for some unbiased information.
Please contact if you need any information or have any information.

I’m a little baffled about this one as I can’t seem to find the root cause of my coolant level issue. For the past couple of weeks I’ve noticed that my expansion tank is almost empty and when I take the cap of the rad I can see that it’s full to brim. So I’ve topped up the expansion tank as per manual between low and full only to see the level fall way below low after a few days.
My initial thoughts were oh sh!t the head gasket, but having checked he oil and cap for white sludge and the fact that there is no billowing white smoke after warm up I’m none the wiser. I’ve checked water pipes for leeks or weeps around clips but nothing.

I'm just wondering if there are any other bikes rearsets that will fit onto the gen2 without modification? For example would say zx6r ones fit?
I'm after a black set purely for aesthetics and dont really wanna fork out for stupidly expensive adjustable ones or rely on cheapo chinese copies.
Ive had a nose around the usual places and there are plenty of black factory ones from other bikes but I just thought I'd see if there any particular models I could look for?
Cheers

What tyre pressures do you guys run on track days? I'm running on Bridgestone 023's with R1 front end and R6 shock. In my leathers I'm probably 13.5 to 14 stone. I did Silverstone a few months back and it was a chilly damp day and I never touched the pressures and never really noticed any problems, although I wasn't particularly fast either. The tyres looked pretty good afterwards too. I just wondered if any of the TD fiends drop their pressures or run at standard.
Cheers, Mickey

So, the end of the summer is here but the weather is still pretty good.
If it's dry on Sunday 25th, I'm going to have a jaunt out.
Any Lofo's care to join me ?
I have a lovely little circuit in the South East which includes some lovely twisty roads or if people prefer can ride the 272 to Loomies, I'm easy, just want to make the most of the season before the weather changes for the worst.
Who's in, who's out, who's unsociable, who's not, who's bikes are the wrong colour and can't keep up ?
