Hi all,

I was thinking.. it wouldn't be a big job to fit a super loud horn in place of the standard one.

Any recommendations?
I'd like something that can wake the dead for around £20-30 if that's possible.

I'm getting a bit fed up of pedestrians just walking out in front of me without even looking. I think a good set of hooters might make me feel better about the whole thing.

hi all
any one got k&n air filter for fazer 1000 gen 1 for sale

Trying to get throttle cables back in to the carbs/bars....


Seems to be no way to do it without having carbs out i.e. get cables seated at grips first then at carbs, but even so very difficult


any one got any tips?

Hi, i have an FZ6 S1 touring screen (puig) from a 2005 fz6 in very good condition for sale and a monokey topbox system, including arms, mount kit and a monokey top plate for sale. i do have the bolts for the arms but not for the top plate although the bolts are nothing special and can easily be found. looking for around £40 for the screen and around £50 for the topbox kit. open to offers, please message or call 07715418642 if interested, located in Crow Edge, Sheffield.

ps i also have a haynes manual for the FZ6, 2004-2007 in good condition and some R+G bar end protectors for FZ6, may fit the FZ1 as well but please check first. wanting around £10 for the manual, £25 for the bar ends. message if interested.

if i want to long term store the gen 1 fazer 1000, does turning the fuel tap under the tank off and running the bike until it stops drain all the fuel, or is there still some left in the float bowls.....

What is the reasonable amount of miles I should expect to get out of my Fazer before seriously having to
consider trading it in?

Do many of you have or ever had bar end mirrors on the Gen 1? Are they any good? Can you see more than the standard ones which seem to show about 30-40% of elbow?
Just wondering if there's any advantage to having them over standard as some of them actually look quite smart.
