  Blue residue
Posted by: Dudeofrude - 18-04-17, 06:33 PM - Forum: General - Replies (17)

I've just noticed a load of blue residue around the oil cooler on the front of my Gen2. Any ideas what that would be? My first assumption is coolant because It's really bright blue and looks like it's been leaking out of every joint/seam on it?
I would upload picture but this bludy site won't let me anymore :-(

  Think Bike – Jimmy Hill

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/films..._jimmy.htm

A tragic, needless accident.
But why did it happen?
The driver checks the traffic on his right. The road seems to be clear, and he pulls out.
But if we look again from the driver’s angle, we can see his problem.
Visibility isn’t good, but if only he’d checked again, he would have seen the motorcyclist approaching.
That car driver will be more careful next time.
For the motorcyclist, there isn’t going to be a next time.
So motorists: be particularly careful at junctions.
Think once.
Think twice.
Think bike.

Be careful out there Gents

  General Election 8th June
Posted by: fazersharp - 18-04-17, 11:15 AM - Forum: General - Replies (232)

General Election on the 8th June looks like a second EU referendum by any other name.
Mrs May has had enough of the sniping from the remainders in labour and lib dems and the lords on brexit so she has called for a general election to ask for a mandate on the Governments current brexit path

FZS600 engine oil warning light randomly comes on
Posted by: feral kid - 17-04-17, 11:29 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (13)

For couple of weeks now the engine oil warning light occasionally comes on, it stays on for around 30-50 seconds and then it goes off. It's not the case that it's happening when sharp turning or going up\down hill. I spoke to my mechanic about it it and he is not sure what is causing it. He said that it may be a problem with a oil sensor (maybe it got some gunk stuck to it), but wasn't sure and he said he it would be quite a lot of work to check it\clean it, he would have to remove the whole exhaust system to do it and probably it wouldn't be cheap. Does anyone know what could be causing it and is it something serious? Is it safe to keep riding the bike if it keeps happening?
