Hi Guys, Always had nice Hondas in the past and recently sold my cb1300 as I seem to have lost my passion for riding, am now looking for something cheaper to keep in the garage for the odd blast if the mood takes me, Thought a fazer 1000 would fit the bill perfectly for a blast or a more sedate long days riding so here I am!!

| Silicone Radiator Hose Kits |

Since my radiator needs replaced I had another go at getting in touch with SFS about silicone hose kits. I made a guess at the email address of the person in SFS that was helpful last time to see if they still have the patterns/tooling from last time and this is the important bit of the response I got back within 6 minutes!
I would suggest that you send me a set of original hoses. Upon receipt of the samples I can try and cross match them with existing tooling, and produce details kit costs for you.
I hope to get the hoses off my bike this weekend to send away and will let you know when I hear back from SFS and if there is a minimum quantity that has to be ordered. SFS are selling other bike kits with 8 hoses for £125 to £135 so I would expect the FZS600 kits to be a similar price.
Post here if you are interested in a kit.

Need to put my mind at rest as I got into a bit of a tet-a-tet regarding the enging on the fazer 600 yesterday.
So is a 2002 FZS600 a Carb engine or Fuel injected?

I can't get a sprocket 1 tooth bigger (17 tooth) for my tracer 700 which is the same as the MT-07.
standard tooth is 16.
I can how ever get a R1 17 tooth sprocket which is the same except its slightly narrower .
the thicker part..... the MT-07 is 11.0mm ---R1 10.8mm
the MT-07 chain 525 R1 530
would this make any difference??
hopefully someone can help me on this, even if the above is not suitable maybe you'll know where I can get it.
in the usa I can get it but postage combine comes to £60 or more .
how can they justify £32 postage??.

| Adjusting Clutch Cable on FZ6 |

I need to adjust the clutch cable on my FZ6, but the adjuster by the clutch lever is already all the way out.
The Haynes manual says to remove the tank, battery and airbox to get access to the other adjuster which is down between the frame and the engine, but I don't want to have to do all that if I don't have to.
If I lift the tank I can see the adjuster, but there's not enough gap to get tools into the space.
So does anyone have any suggestions to sort this out without all the palaver of removing the battery and airbox?

Hi all.
Damn my poor memory.... :'(
I fitted uprated headlights.
Removed the fairing inners and the rear fairing bolts to get at them.
Now lost one of the silver fairing bolts, but got the square nut it fits with!! :oops
I'd just like to know the size/type of bolt to order to replace it?
Any/all help appreciated
