Hi after having a clear out I found my old 600 manual on a cd it is a copy but if anyone can make use of it there welcome to it f.o.c

Was fitted to my FZ1-S (2010) - but should fit any of the Gen 2 FZ1 Fazers ( 2006-2014) - however, you should probably double-check on http://maxtonsuspension.co.uk if you're buying for anything other than a 2010 FZ1-S

Currently set up for a 90kg rider in all the kit - as you can see from the pix, there's plenty of adjustment up and down from that.

This is a serious upgrade on the cheapo shock that's fitted as standard and transforms the ride

You're welcome to collect the shock from Portsmouth to save on the P&P, although if collecting it's Cash on Collection

I have this set of colbolt drill bits http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p94153?table=no but most of them are now blunt.
Can someone recommend a sharpening gizmo to re grind them, I do have a bench grinder and stone but I can never seem to get the angle right.   

Took my radiator guard off for the first time in about 10 years and it looks like I can't put off replacing the radiator much longer.  It also explains the smell of coolant I sometimes get sitting at traffic lights.

Any comments on where to get a new radiator from and where to avoid?

I know some of the early Chinese copies had the angle of some of the pipe stubs wrong but have they fixed that now, or is delkevic the most reliable?

Hi, when I moved the bike today I noticed a small amount of coolant on the floor. I've traced it back to the filler cap under the right fairing panel or maybe the join of the rubber pipe just underneath. It's hard to tell. The coolant is filled right to the top of the filler neck and I've checked the small tank behind the engine and the coolant is between the level markers. ( it's low but between the marks )
I've cleaned everything and run the bike till hot and can't see anything leaking.
  Can anyone give me any advice on what else I should be checking ? The coolant hasn't been changed or topped up in about 3000 miles so it's nothing That's been done to the bike recently. It's a gen 1 fzs1000

Just got a 600 boxeye in gold/black.Like it so much after the test ride I never gave it back.Had old dinosaurs in the 80's,gs550and 1000.Then fz750 and fj1100.Love old zeds too and have a z900 modded abit too much.Got the 600 for the work commute.Need to do something with those lights before the winter for sure.
Been in Holland 20years after leaving Scotland for the warmer rain here.Looking forward to thrashing the wee 6 everyday.

Had a quick look at the cable this evening:
Lever end is now pulled through to under the tank
Clutch cable bracket at clutch actuator end is released but unable yet to get the locking nuts undone.

Once released it looks like the cable can then be drawn back and out of the LHS.....???

Any ideas please!!!
