  Carburettor Float drain screw.(solved)

Hi fellas,

I've been looking for a picture the clearly shows the drain screw but the diagrams I have found are confusing. Has anyone got a photo of it that they could mark the location on for me?

Thanks

  British and Irish Lions 2017

So the election is over, for better or for worse..

Now the Lions is hotting up, won't mention the latest result in case people don't know the score yet.

This is for those of us who enjoy the great game of rugby.

Test spots are tough to call but the lack of creativity and tries must be a worry and now addressed.

  FZS 1000 starting issues
Posted by: Johnnylad123 - 10-06-17, 11:22 AM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (6)

My 1000 has developed an issue when starting, sometimes it just clicks like the solenoid is energising but won't spin the starter. When this happens it also resets both trip meters and the clock as if the battery has been disconnected. Any ideas, I presume it's shorting somewhere but any pointers would be appreciated guys!

  I.O.M TT fatalities

Really is time this was stopped

I think that is one of the most over used statements in Motor cycle sport
They have died doing something they enjoyed doing, usually followed by RIP.
It is time this event was stopped or else made a hell of a lot safer.
There have been 5 fatalities this year the death rate is going up year on year.
No doubt I will get hammered for this. I have been a road race fan since I was 14 and still go to at least one or two road races a year in N Ireland. I have never been to the TT as one it is to bloody expensive to get there and two, to what see the riders go past every 17 minutes for 5 laps. No thanks. My last road race was the Tandragee 100 last year. There was a young gun called Malaci Mitchell Thomas, a new wonder kid on the block. He was flying and everyone was raving about him. I thought to myself then, son you are quick but take your time and learn the track and your craft as well. He was killed at the NW200 about a month later.

The death toll in this year’s TT Races which finished on Friday is just one fewer than the worst year for the event, which was 1970, when there were six fatalities. Enough is enough

  FZ1N for sale
Posted by: Mike01 - 09-06-17, 10:09 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (4)

Hi
Was going to trade this in and will if I don't sell private so offering here.
57 plate, 22k miles with fresh oil around every 3k miles.
Great looking bike but not mint, nothing major to mention just general wear and the odd mark.
Some nice extras including Power commander 5 Akropovic exhaust piper x filter and air box mod. De cat smaller flies, very recent steering damper at £350... carbon tail and few other bits, nearly new pilot 3 tyres and chain and sprockets.
White seat has been recovered in black, original two seats still available pillion pegs also available to buyer.
Runs great as expected  Big Grin
£3200, I think that's cheap but taking miles into consideration... I have spent a lot on this bike in the two years I have owned it!
I can send more pictures and can be viewed in Harlow.

  Akrapovic exhaust

So my question is can you put different exhausts on different bikes with just a link pipe or are all exhausts bike specific? This is for a gen2

TPS fault code (3000) on the Rev counter. Please help me fix it.
Posted by: nitheesh - 09-06-17, 04:15 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (8)

Hey Guys,

When my fzs 600 which has done 65000km so far is showing the tps fault code when ever I turn on the Ignition. The indicator in the rev counter constantly shows 3000 and goes back to 0. However after I ride for some time and turn the engine off the rev indicator shows 10500 and goes back to 0.
I have read that 10000 means that tps needs adjusting is it true. I read that it would normally show 10000 when I unplug and replug the tps connector, but in this case I am not doing anything it just shows 10500 something on its own. I am newbie I want to remove the tps connector and replug it but I dont know how to do it. I tried pulling it hard but its really tight, I dont see any screws, how do I disconnect the connector?

Also I dont see any issues while driving the bike, so can I keep riding it even with this issue?
