  Gift Aid
Posted by: YamFazFan - 20-07-18, 09:43 PM - Forum: General - Replies (13)

Having visited various museums/attractions during a break in Cumbria this past week something has me puzzled.

Does anyone know why some venues charge a higher (approx. 10% more) admission fee in order that you are able to Gift Aid, whilst others only require that you pay the standard entry fee in order to do so?.

  Bangers bike meet
Posted by: dazza - 20-07-18, 05:02 PM - Forum: Events, Meets, Ride outs etc - Replies (3)

Bit late notice but any LOFO's up for a meet tonight at Bangers cafe on the A249 towards Sittingbourne. It's an anniversary meet and they are having the rolling road Dyno up there again.
So for a score you can get your old girl on the Dyno and see what it's putting out.
I'm going to take the MT10 up there to compare it to my Fazer and see what it's putting out stock while I think about a re-flash.

Posted by: Pal - 20-07-18, 04:41 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (1)

After having problems with the electrics after having an alarm removed, I want to replace with an un-molested loom.
If anyone has one from a 2002 or 2003 FZS600.
Part number will be 5RT-82590-00.
Cheers

  Replacement front forks after smash
Posted by: Just a Faze im in - 19-07-18, 11:23 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (7)

I was riding past stationary traffic and a van pulled out from a side street.  I hit the side of it, bent the forks back about four inches and sent me flying.

Anyway I need some new front forks.  Second hand on eBay the forks alone are selling for around £300.  I could buy a whole bike not running for £500.

Any other ideas on where to source?

Spent the day packing the car up for a long weekend at Brands. Should be hot on and off the track. Good tribute bands on Saturday night to Led Zep, The Who and Madness. Got the gas powered coolbox fired up now on max with 36 cans on the go. Can't wait.

  Aftermarket levers
Posted by: Triggergee - 18-07-18, 04:05 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (20)

just wanted to know other people's opinions on the very different pricing for aftermarket levers, do I go for the expensive £100 a lever  :eek  asv levers which I'm sure must be quality or the cheap Chinese levers which look pretty much the same but are under £20 a pair! Or others at around £60 a pair... such a massive difference for what I suppose is just a small piece of milled metal but saying that you wouldn't want your brake lever to snap or fall off going into a bend of summat. Anyone got either cheap or expensive ones or have any input?
