It's home insurance renewal time again for VNA.My renewal price is up again. But it does offer decent cover for my garage contents..
So I've just wasted well over an hour phoning insurance companies. You have to sit through all the pre-recorded crap etc etc - you know how it goes.First question I ask is, what is your contents cover for garages.Standard answer is 5000 quid. I say thanks, but no thanks, and move on to the next insurance firm.
The AA - a motoring organisation said £3000 Umm no thanks.
So where do I get decent home insurance that includes realistic cover for my garage contents?

My son is thinking of getting a 2002 FZR 1000 and he and I are going to see a model on Thursday. Obviously I've bought various secondhand bikes in the past so have a general idea of what to checkout but is there any thing that I should look at that applies to this particular year and model. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Because if it turns out a duffer guess who'll get the blame

Hi. I have a knackered set of forks on my fzs600. I have bought a set of fz8 forks but now need a set of yokes. Any suggestions?
I know I will need front mud guard/fender but I plan on using original wheels if possible
Thanks in advance
Chris

Can you believe this fuckin' maniac !! :eek pulls a rider's front brake on at high speed and gets away with a 2 race ban. Like Cal Crutchlow said he should have been banned for life, this ain't the 1st time he's done this,he's an idiot, a dangerous idiot. There's the red mist and there's craziness. :thumbdown

back to owning a fzs600 after selling my boxeye about 7 years back, went to sv650s which was somehow a lesser bike than the fazer, then a xv535 , was not up to my riding style, a zx6r, quick but too sportbike focused then an xmax 250, comfy and practical but too slow
Picked up a 2003 foxeye with some useful mods 30,000 very good for its years in my opinion, really enjoying. rides like a missile after the xmax
