  Breather?
Posted by: deeteefifty - 26-08-18, 07:42 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (6)

Hello, I removed the carburettors to free off a seized tick over adjuster and on strip down noticed the item marked with a green arrow, should connect somewhere or does it vents to atmosphere?

Full set of custom painted FZS1000 Plastics and grab rails
Posted by: Mick-H - 25-08-18, 05:10 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (7)

Yamaha FZS 1000 Gen 1 Front mudgard, fairing, seat unit and grab rails all custom painted black with lava red fleck and a ghosted in Yamaha symbol

No damage what so ever only painted as I wanted something different and then replaced when I went full carbon.

The bike they came off is currentley up for sale so I'm starting to sell off all the bits that I have collected over the years.
If my bike does not sell I'll be breaking it so keep an eye out for some top quality items inc Ohlins shock, loads of carbon, windowed engine cases and lots more.

Collection from Edgworth near Bolton
I wont post but I'm prepaired to travel up to 120 miles for the price of my petrol so a 240 mile round trip I'd be looking at £30
£450 ovno

  Floppy mirror
Posted by: deeteefifty - 24-08-18, 10:22 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (8)

Hello, one of the mirrors has gone floppy on the outer ball socket fitting, has anyone successfully removed the glass by warming the plastic. I thought there may be a way to get the fitting secure internally.

1 week to sell the FAZER or it goes under the hammer (LITERALLY) !!
Posted by: focced_off - 24-08-18, 10:12 AM - Forum: General - Replies (42)

Perhaps some of you can relate to this, your wife loathes you riding, plus thinks a motorbike is like satan (or that's where I'll end up).

Forget about the content and enjoyment I get out of ownership, maintaining, plus riding the bike - that is not a part of her rational thinking.
Forget about the fact it is also TRANSPORT, costs much less to run and maintain, also gets me to work much faster. My bike infact helps keep me sane!

In her defence, there has been a couple of "mishaps" during my 'riding career'. However this has not fazed me from riding at all. "Bike Life" innit. Smile
It's come down to this: I've been given 1 week to sell the motorbike, or she threatens to attack it with a hammer! Yes she has anger management issues.

It's been fun while it lasted.  :finger  :uhuh  :look

  Yamaha Spare Parts Website

Don't know if you know of this website, i normally use Fowlers or AJ Sutton for referencing spares, but i stumbled on this lot and the website looks quite tidy and simple to use.
