Hello chaps,
I was hoping for some help and/or advice. The girlfriend's grandad has given me an armadillo bike cover, one of those tent things.
He took it all apart without checking pole lengths (oo-er).There are several different lengths to the side poles, that have now been mixed up.
There are no instructions. The internet isn't too helpful, I found a video with some blokes from Fast Bikes magazine making man jokes and not showing me what I want to see (pole lengths).Has anyone got one (or similar) and can tell me the where the different poles may go?
If that makes sense.
I've sorted the front two poles on each side, but then I've got 4 long, 4 short and 2 medium poles (2 long, 2 short and 1 medium per side)...
Thank you to one and allTom
Hi Guys. On Saturday, I started my bike as normal, but immediately, a 'Pop' noise came from the engine. I never thought too much of it, but then noticed the idle speed seemed more erratic, not as smooth as normal, almost misfiring and I'm convinced the engine doesn't sound the same, more rattle and tappet noise.
Hello all,
I'm getting back into motorcycles, my 'new' FZS600 should be in my garage in a week or 2.
Looking forward to usefull tips concerning the bike.
Hi guys, has anyone fitted additional brake/stop/indicators to panniers? I was thinking of doing this but was hoping someone had already done it and could give advise on the best lights.Cheers John
anyone here attend? Saw a few fazers about and probably loads I didn't see as I was hanging out with some trikes and there must've been 4,000 bikes there! Definitely a years worth of pollution :crazy
The dog bones & the collar are prototypes made by Kebab who pioneered them on the 600. As such are tarnished & he provided me smaller nuts (ahem) to compensate for thickness of the bones otherwise get some made up from projection components.
All the info is on the Foc-U forum.
Thanks To Kebab for the stuff but I’ll probably end up with more of a party piece bike next year so will be a waste to fit this now.
I want 175 earth pounds for it (posted) which is a fair price.
Decent day out at Donny Park Monday. Im 99% sure that I was the only bloke that rode his bike there and didnt have tyre warmers, but never mind, no less enjoyable. Was only when i checked the bike over next day and saw the worn footrest, then spotted that it had worn so much that it allowed the fairing to then contact the track, resulting in wearing a hole in it. Priced up OEm for the footrests, jeez, thtas just not worth it. Spotted these so gonna get 2 sets.
For the fairing, Ive ordered a sheet of this, and Im gonna make up some nice sliders to cover the worn areas, held on with countersunk screws and nuts, so I can change em when they wear and before they get worn through to the fairing. 5mm thick sheet
