Ive just put some 15w oil in my 2001 forks with pre load adjusters.
465ml measured out correctly.
Pumped the forks to release air bubbles.
After 10 minutes each leg sitting i measured the air gap
It was way off the specified 132mm (at least 15 > 20mm off)
Should i add more oil to make the air gap the correct height or just leave the measured out 465ml
Thanks

Just a heads up for anyone at a loose end on Sunday. Bikes start to leave Tattenham Corner on Epsom Downs Surrey at 8am. This is for pre-1915 bikes and usually attracts between 200 to 300 entrants. Currently the weather forecast is good for Sunday both at Epsom and the destination which is Brighton.

Hi , so i want to take off my mirror stem off the clutch side of the handle bar mount and put this ( sat nav ) ram ball mirror mounted thread in the mirror stem hole. the seller says to make sure the female thread dims of the receiving hole are suited to the ram ball thread listed
. but lists a very few bikes that are suited but that doesnt mean that its not a bit more universal than the listings maybe?.
anyone help on this, the thread and dims are listed in the ad , link below.
i dont know if the clutch lever mirror mount is suited or even how to find out ?
thanks in anticipation.
