  fzs600 2003 light swap
Posted by: Meldoxx - 24-07-19, 10:30 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (8)

Hello i have a questions regarding lights on the fzs600 (2003). I am leaving the country and moving to a different one which is right hand side drive and i am forced to switch the lights. Now comes the question if i have to purchase full new lights specifically for rhs or would there be any possibility to modify the oem ones, like switching them around etc.. I'm asking as the actuall lights dont have any engravings on the plastic so a swap seems possible.
Thanks Wink

  HOT POOP WIKI
Posted by: Andrew - 24-07-19, 12:27 PM - Forum: Your Suggestions and How you can help - Replies (4)

Bit of an odd one but something i've just noticed after returning.

WHERES THE HOT POOP?!

Many moons ago when we transfered over from the yuku page I managed the wiki page, I've been away for several years due to life and now upon coming back theres no such thing :rollin

IMO it was a great portal for info and was very useful as a one stop shop.

Anyone shed some light on it?

  Foxeye 600 Selling help
Posted by: StuartGSXR - 23-07-19, 08:50 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (11)

So I am looking for a bit of forum help again.

I have just been made redundant out of the blue. I only bought the Fazer last year for the commute to this job so I am thinking I will need to sell it now but I have no clue what to ask for it.

It is a 2003 Foxeye 600 in silver. It had covered 20,000 miles when I bought it last August, it is now on 29,000 miles. In the time I have owned it I have serviced it with all genuine parts (plugs, air filter, oil filter etc), added Oxford heated grips and in the last month it has had a new DID chain and JT sprockets and a new rear tyre. It has a 50 litre top box, a scotoiler and a Yamaha double bubble screen as well as a Lextek slip on exhaust (marked from the bike drop) as well as the original one. It has crash bungs and a rad guard on it as well.
It has at times been dropped on both sides (stationary ones) small crack in the nose cone and various marks on the fairings and tank. Mechanically it is sound and starts first time everytime... question is, what should I ask for it? I know lowish mileage ones are hard to come by and it has had money spent on it lately.

hiya all, just joined up to see what`s going on, had bikes most of my life from early teens ( 56 now ) right from 250 super dreams,cx 500`s ( remember them ? ) suzuki gs1000, 1200 bandits , vfr 800 x 3, blackbird but have just bought my first yam ever ! its a 2002 fzs1000, full krauser hard luggage 18k on the clock, the riding position on this bike is awsome, wasnt expecting it to be so quick tbh  :eek , so gonna get the usual mods done what i always do, braided hoses & change the brake & clutch levers first, anyway just thought i would say hi  Wink
