That was a great day! I joined the Motorcycle Action Group rideout from Rownhams Services with several hundred other bikers protesting about planned new EU regulations for bikes.
Everyone was well behaved, the Police were excellent (holding traffic at slip roads for us!) and after that I went on a ride on my own, had an excellent carvery meal and got home, knackered but happy
But the annoying thing is that despite a national protest by thousands of bikers all over the country, there seems to have been sod all coverage by the national BBC and Sky news
hello chaps. i just recently traded my old fsz600 in for a gen1 54plate thou. Should it have rear bungee hooks like the 600? and if not how do you bungee stuff to the back seat ? The grab handles ?
OK so obviously the litre Fazers got better marks that the 600- I say obviously but more people seem to own them than 600's and it has more useable power but in the survey.........
Owners
30% FZS6
17% FZ6S
37% FZS1000
16% FZ1
97% male/3% female owners Average 9124 miles per year
But the thing that interested me (as an FZ6S2 owner and having all the -hopefully good nautured ribbing from those with box eyes) was that we scored the FZ6S slightly higher than the FZS6 :b
I suppose the boxeyes will say that their bikes are older and so more troublesome but isnt that the point? Time to change up!
Anyway- 52% of Fazer owners said the Fazer is the best bike they have ever owned so I guess it doesnt matter which one you have as long as you are happy with it.
Mine did 120 miles half in torrential downpour and half in sunshine today- didnt miss a beat and I still ended the ride with a slightly bedraggled and soggy smile- just need to clean and dry the kit and then the bike before another run out on Friday with friends
