Posted by: BIG MAC - 28-09-11, 11:47 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - No Replies

Transit van or similar reliable workhorse even if you haven't got one if you see one that's a bargain please let me know? £1,500 to £2k (Money tight as kicking off a new venture) I don't mind body damage but must otherwise be reasonable condition and runner

  New Links link
Posted by: Farjo - 28-09-11, 07:45 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

On the menu there is now a Links item. It is based on the old site's links with the broken and rubbish ones removed. As with the rest of the site you will now be able to add items yourself so feel free to add your biking sites.

New categories can be added on an as-required basis e.g. there are a lot of travel-type links so there is a Holidays category. If your link doesn't fit into an existing category please add it to Useful Stuff.

I know you've barely got your breath back, but any thoughts about "enabling" foc-u for Tapatalk? the browser type seems to be the same as/similar to the Tiger800 forum which I can get on my mobile in a much easier/readable format than using tinterweb browser.

even though I've prised myself from the glory that was the Gen 1 Fazer Thou. still a fairly mega mile muncher (did 107,000miles on the Thou and it's still going as far as I know), now running a TigerXC, still living in the wet part of Scotlandshire, still married to Mrs Gringo, oh, and inventor of the Gathering in the Glen.

  Top Box rack
Posted by: Robbie8666 - 28-09-11, 04:01 PM - Forum: General - Replies (4)

OK this probably the wrong section to post this but I'd like members advice,

I got back into biking after over 10 years out and have just bought a 02 Fazer 600
love it and went to cornwall and back at the weekend

when i bought the bike it has a GIVI rack and plate fitted , my question is....
are all givi plates the same and will any size topbox fit it?
whilst using a small rucsac to Cornwall was ok for a one off i'd like to have something I can pack and ride more comfortably

also whist I'm on I will be doing that run alot when the weather is good enough any advice on best luggage to get ie throwovers or is it worth investing in hard luggage?
