Hi Foccers..
I notice that my rear brake is not working too good...then when i stand on it something seems to move, and then CLUNKS back when i come off the brake... also i notice that the rear disc is VERY hot after a spin...even tho i mostly use the front brake...any thoughts...? :guitar
Actually i had this same prob a year ago...and burnt my thumb quite badly on a RED HOT disc... :eek .. paid €300 to highly reputable shop in Dublin for fixing..
.i thought at the time...JAYSUS...!
it wud have been cheaper to fit a new caliper...???!!

An odd one but if anyone on here has an old dog with a heart problem and uses vetmedin 5mg send me a message, I may be able to save you a few quid as I have some left over and can't bear to see a vet send them for incineration when a dog could make use of them.

Clock Swap from a YZF R1 to my FZ1 |

Hi all,
I'm sure this has been asked before and at the risk of repeating a previous post here goes:
I'm about to start a project, first thing to do is to swap my clock (1st gen FZ1) for an 5JJ R1 (00-01) clock.
First:
Does anyone have a pin layout for the connector plug for both machines please, I understand it's only a case of swapping some pins - but which pins?
I understand that after rewiring the pins, everything should display correctly on the replacement speedo (except for the fuel level because the R1 doesn't have a gauge).
Next:
The R1 cluster doesn't have a fuel gauge, but I'd still like to have one, is it possible to fit an aftermarket gauge by connecting it to the fuel level wire from the loom?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
