Me and my pal are doing a day trip to Cornwall on Monday. I'll no doubt have to use my Triumph to save the thou's tyres for my French trip next month. If anyone fancies it, can meet on the A3 south of M25, or Popham services on A303. This whizz is predominantly A and B roads, and is roughly 470 miles round trip from South London.

Anyone got a top box rack or topbox set for sale? Cheers.

7600 cyclists left Paris between 4pm yesterday and 5am this morning to cycle to Brest and back. A total of 1200km (800 miles) and they must complete the "race" within 90 hours with no backup vehicles. They stop where they want, eat and sleep when/where they want and basically cycle for as many of the 24 hours each day as their body will allow.


They are currently over halfway to Brest having passed through the area where I am (Mayenne) today. Hopefully I wont see to many of the foccers tomorrow but expect to see a lot on their way back to Paris on Wednesday

Very unlikely but may come in handy for someone.

Well this is a new one on me, the bikes been running crap recently, cut a long story short I've not had the time or the inclination to keep on top of the maintenance for a while now.
Anyway, she (the bike) starts ok but as soon as I've put her in gear and tried to move off the revs die off and the engine cuts out.


When she's running she sounds like a sewing machine, camchain rattling like a good 'un but that's another story.


The bike used to take a bit of choke to start, now it's the opposite- the choke needs to be off and the revs at zero before the engine kicks into life. Another thing, once the bikes idling at stationary, if I rev the bike hard the engine cuts out. Any Ideas on where to look, as I've said if anyone can save me a bit of time with this one it's much appreciated  [size=78%] [/size]

I will be selling my blue 09 plate gen2 in the next few weeks once i,ve received new bike, with just over 7100 miles, i will try the facebook market place first then autotrader, i have put a arkapovic exhaust on, and removed exup cables. I will change the oil and filter before she goes.

After being handed a lifeline with Leon Camiers MV Agusta he's now lost that ride after being given a suspended jail sentence for a knife crime,apparently he came upon his brother being held down by a bloke in a scuffle and pushed him off and a kitchen knife he had on him fell on the floor and the bloke involved in the scuffle picked it up and took it to the police who then arrested Danny for carrying it,he said he was carrying it as part of his work,but it didn't wash with the judge who gave him a suspended jail sentence.His boss of the racing team must have given him the elbow immediately,'cause Gino Rea has got his ride at Cadwell.I'm not sticking up for Danny with regards to the crime,I don't know enough about it,but when your lucks running rough it seems one thing after another,I've always rated him and hope this isn't the end of his career.
