Looking for a aftermarket undertray for gen 1 fazer 1000!

So Joy has been having some problems with the fazer 6.
It kept stalling at lights or low revs. The rev would also hang for a second or to.
And when she got it going afterwards there was black smoke out of the exhaust.
So 2 weeks ago i bought a secondhand fuel system to swap over.
This afternoon i had time to take it all apart and see what was wrong.
As soon as i removed the fuel system i could see the problem.
Injector 2,3 & 4 were leaking as they were wet and Number 1 was bone dry.
The bike was in a very poor way when we going it and standing for some years.
I also pulled the plugs and they were black but not with soot. So i bought new plugs.
So i got the plugs and fuel system fitted and the bike started first time which was a good thing.
I got it up to temp and revved up the engine. there was no hanging of revs and it idle around 1200rpm.
So i just need to put the rest of it back together in the morning and take it for a test ride.
Will let you know if i have to call the AA or not lmao.

I am looking for ways to help my wife with her bike. I have got it all sorted for her apart from the weight.It is a very top heavy bike, and i am looking for a aftermarket exhaust to fit on it.
But before i buy one can anyone tell me if it help make the bike feel lighter changing the exhaust.Also any thoughts on what else i could do to remove top end weight from the bike.

Drives me mad...get going on a run and some microscopic gnat or something else gets into my helmet ear area and tickles like fek till I eventually have to stop and do a deep clean....is it just me ?

Few months back I saw a top box for the 1000 gen 2 that was mounted via the rear seat. The rear seat came off and a whole unit replaced it that the top box then attached too.
Cant remember if it was for sale on here or on ebay but just wondering if anybody has any idea what one it was or what brand etc?

Have anyone actually measured the exact amount of litres the fuel tank carries on a FZS600 98-99?
I have different figures from different sources raging from "approximately" 18 to 20 litres. We all know that our fuel gauge is very inaccurate, so if by knowing the average MPG and the exact amount of fuel carried, we can know the autonomy or our bike.

1. MRA screen is cr4p so would like another one - I had the Yamaha touring screens on my previous FZ1's that were fine so what is that equivalent? I have the standard screen but not tried it yet but to be fair can't see it been any better.


2. Crash bungs

Sorry it's not really Fazer specific but I've had my helmet for around 3 months and the visor has developed a crack from being slammed shut (lesson learned). When I bought the helmet it was on sale as a discontinued model (nother lesson learned).


Now I can't seem to find a visor which matches it exactly and searching the web brings up nothing (Helmet seems to be an "E3" model according to the stickers). If you see the picture, the visor has some plastic teeth which I can't seem to find in visors in online shops.
