| BS kite on silencer question |

If my old BS kite mark "fell off" my straight through Akrapovik, as they do you know, and I wanted to put one on to help at MOT or being stopped by police time replace it, where should the kite mark go?
Is it where the 'not for road use' was, ie under the little pipe at the back of the silencer, where the 'E' mark is on the OE pipe, ie on the inside, or doesn't it matter.
Thanks in advance

Im looking at getting an aftermarket Scorpion can & link pipe for my 2011 FZ1-N but what do I do with the Exup valve and cables? Looking at the link pipe that comes with the new can, there is no way of connecting the Exup assembly to the new pipe. Or is there something I am missing???? :rolleyes

Been a bit noisy for a while but this winter has finished em off so booked in to Eccleshill m/c on tuesday to have em replaced. Not used em before but they seem ok, I'll post when they're done with the cost and my experience with them for anyone who like me don't have the facilities/time or just can't be arsed.

Hi guys,
Just done bike safe with the police which I can't recommend enough. Great blokes, great fun and I learnt loads.
Now to the point. I have a little up and down play in both the clutch and front brake levers. On the pull side they work fine but they do move up and down.
Is this simply a case of tightening up some screws/bolts or is it just age ? 1998 FZS 600.

| EXUP cable snapped |

I'd decided to check and re-lubricate my exhaust valve this morning as it's not been running right recently and I only got as far as taking the cover off and found that one of the EXUP cables has snapped off right at the bottom where it goes round the pulley wheel. A quick look on eBay threw up a replacement set of cables for £145. Is that right? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-FZS1000...1247wt_952
Can just the inner cable be replaced or should I jam the valve fully open and leave it like that? I'm looking at ivanising it soon so opinions on best solutions would be greatly appreciated.

of this story??
His family claim he was too big? And? Is a mortuary expected to have fridges to fit every fat bloater in their area? Why the hell should my taxes go towards paying for their grief? I have no problem paying for Mr Average Joe, in such circumstances, but a line has to be drawn somewhere - and it has to be before a picture can be taken where the guy barely has a chin. If the family, who apparently loved him so much, want a fridge big enough to fit him, they can bloody well pay for it themselves.
I've not had a good day, but if Elsie wants to wants to say goodbye to her "loved" one, she'll have to deal with the reality, not try to blame it on somebody else and comfort from that.
"How can I let him go when I can't say goodbye? It's just wrong." FFS, welcome to the world.
