Thought I'd post and say Hello so yeah err Hello :lol . FZS600 owner, in lovely yellow. Had the bike a year now, love it, does everything I require and does it very well, although I am tempted to get rid of it for it's bigger brother to make touring that bit easier!

my plastic hugger has cracked around two mounting points. One bit ha scome off, the other about to do so... I reckon its either fatigue cracks or my dealer overtightened the mounting nuts last year after replacing my rear brake hose , as its only after then that the cracks appeared ...but how do I prove such ?
Its an ermax hugger, color coded, so I was wondering if there is anything which would glue the bits back on.? A new one is at least £80 + painting...
The pieces are not small, about 30mm across, so I can get a decent amount of glue onto them.
any ideas ?
cheers

Thats right SE members, the good old drought season is here, weve had a shit load of rain like every other winter past and yet on the news this evening is that hose pipes will grip the SE in less than a month..
were also an island, but I guess desalination isnt top of the goverments squeeky tight budget just now.. just amazes me the whole grey water scheme hasnt taken off more what with solar pv taking a massive boost in incentive..
what do you think?

:'(
OK I admit it I put the bike away wet and dirty and it seems after some salt went down
I have given it a good clean and the brake discs are coming back with use and the chain is well oiled but I have what looks like white chicken pox spots on various parts of the bike which seem stubborn- banjo's on the brake lines etc
What gets white chicken pox off Yamaha metal? :rolleyes
Even the exhaust downpipes and CAT (FZ6S2) are rusty- ...... oh my! :o
