  wifi help please
Posted by: chilly - 19-04-12, 06:45 PM - Forum: General - Replies (11)

can anybody help me with setting a password on a virgin media wifi thing. weeks ago i thought it was running a bit slow and both mine and the wifes wifi connections on the phones are slow too. i looked today at devices connected to this pooter and found our stuff and JA-KOMPUTER as well. i suspect the poles that live next door but i would rather fix it this way than go round and bludgeon them all to death (i am close to that now) help to save the lives of some bastards that never leave the house and chainsmoke all the live long day! my house smells of fags now as does the other side of them. me bloods boiling :grumble i thought i had set a password when we got it but obviously not  :grumble

  Seat rejuvination
Posted by: james43 - 19-04-12, 06:25 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (7)

Hi peeps,

Got a 55 Gen1 thats now looking sweet after alot of hard graft.

I will post so pic's shortly.

The big letdown is the seat its in good condition no rips and not out of shape

But it just looks weathered and is letting my sweet newly sprayed gun metal grey ride down.

Any suggestions on cleaners or polish perhaps

Or do I just bite the bullet and get a new seat or cover.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

  International Fazermeet 26-29th July 2012
Posted by: markp2 - 19-04-12, 01:50 PM - Forum: Events, Meets, Ride outs etc - Replies (19)

I don't know if this has been discussed on here recently, but the UK Fazer owners are invited to the International meet at a small hotel about 10km from the Nurburgring in Germany from 26-29th July 2012.
I have been 2 or 3 times over the last 10 years and always had a good time - ususally in the company of Locksmith, GoldFazer, Alan Sherman and a number of others.
The meet is organised by the German Fazer Club and our contact is Sascha (InTheY2k on this forum).
Does anyone fancy going this year? I'm up for it but don't fancy being the only Brit as my foreign language skills are pretty rudimentary (and shamed by the perfect English of many of the continental riders!)
Any takers?
Cheers,
Mark

  FZ1s Power Commander type ?
Posted by: MikeyFZS1 - 19-04-12, 01:49 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (2)

Hi there, I’m the new owner of a 2009 FZ1s and am looking to fit an aftermarket silencer and Power Commander (and possibly an Ivan’s FCE), but I’ve noticed that Dynojet list the PCIII for the 2006 to 2008 model years and a PCV for 2009 onwards model years. My understanding is that the engines are the same on all model year FZ1’s (apart from a throttle butterfly tweak on the 2007-on models) so why a different PC ?

Can any of you fine chaps advise ?

Cheers, Fletch

I tend to buy Shell petrol to collect their "Pluspoints"-which is something Ive done since the days when I was buying 50-100 Litres Diesel per day. My local garage (Birmingham) is charging 141.9 pence per Litre today. Was just wondering if this varies around the Uk? How much are other "Foccers" being stung?

  Fazer 8 Accessories
Posted by: myfazer8 - 19-04-12, 07:23 AM - Forum: Fazer 8 / FZ8 - Replies (2)

Hi guys, just thought i would post a message about fazer 8 accessories, why are they so expensive, over the past few weeks i have purchased a couple, i purchased a plastic seat cover replacement from yamaha at a cost of £166 colour coded, that seems a bit expensive for what it is, but hey it looks good on the bike. My bike goes in for its first service on 27th this month and am having a main stand fitted, at a cost of £160 fitted! i will soon be getting another two pieces of colour coded plastic parts ( Sub Cowling ) also £160 can you see a pattern here lol. i checked today for Roller Protectors these are £109 for the pair, oh but they do have FZ8 stamped on them lol. so since having the bike, i would have spent nearly £600 on accessories! :eek .
there you go, just thought i would let you all know lol
regards steve
