When i was trawling around the internet pre test drooling over all the different bikes on offer I would often come accross descriptions of add ons that i didn't really understand like wavey discs......braided hoses...rear hugger etc etc. Now that i have my lovely looking fazer fz1, which is all standard except for oxford heated grips, I'm already thinking about what I could do to personalise it. I've already decided that a couple of must have's are gel seat (can't go more than half an hour without looking for somewhere to stop and get some blood flowing back into me bum!!) and either an engine guard or crash bobbins (fell off after one week  trying to do a u turn!!), but I'm worried that I might go too far and ruin what is already a very good looking bike. So help me out here people.....what's hot and what's not.....and do wavey discs and braided hoses actually help with performance or are they just to show off...... :b :b :b :b

Just noticed the other day my 05' is missing the hazard and hi beam flash switches..

1. why would they be missing..?
2. is the circiutry still there, could I just buy a left hand switch gear with the aforementioned buttons and fit..?

Fazer Clutch Replacement

Seems you can replace the clutch yourself for a total of £60 and oil, seems a very easy job, tempted to uprate mine to a heavy duty one as i do alot of pillioning

:rollin travelling allong the M4 today behind a Police ford focus, I noticed the large blue plastic cover on the roof lights looked loose. I was just about to try and get the drivers attention when it flew of and hit the road missing m by about 2 feet. I went allongsie ad tried hand signals to explain wt happened. The poor guy driving looked t me like I was a madman and slowed down to let me pass
looks like the cut backs are effecting maintenance!

Since, despite the last protest, the EU plans for interfering with the right of bikers to modify their own machines are going ahead, there's going to be another MAG day of action on June 24th.

This time, instead of separate rides around the country, there's going to be 12 massive demos, one in each EU constituency.

On the way home last night I think I saw a biker wearing what looked like a Hans device for motorcyclists, has anyone else seen these before or have I just drawn (probably unwanted) attention to a disabled rider?
