Would the temperature warning light still work if ...

... you had no coolant left?

I had a carb heater hose come off the other week and I didn't notice at first. By the time I did things were a little hot, but there was no light.

I know on a lot of cars the thermometer is fitted in the thermostat housing or the block and with no coolant it doesn't read much.

  Rear Wheel Bearing Removal
Posted by: Phil TK - 13-06-12, 01:25 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (4)

I just did a search of the site for a method to replace wheel rear bearings but just unearthed a lot of posts describing them as a bitch/bastard/pain in ass etc.
Could anyone relate how best to do this? I have only a couple of hours at the weekend to get this done and don't want to get hung up on it and not have my bike ready for next week.

Hi All

I am now the lucky owner of a Mircon can just bought from Rangrally.
I asked him but he doesn't know as it was already on his bike when hi bought it, but would i need to do any fiddling of the carbs to use this? Everything else is standard.
Many thanks
Nick

  Nut size?
Posted by: NotAnotherHill - 12-06-12, 07:33 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (9)

Hello

Does anyone know which size spanner/socket is needed for the large nut that secures the front sprocket on a 2001 FZS 600? None of mine are large enough (sockets, not my nuts, of course).

Thanks.

  Hi to you all
Posted by: Vipera - 12-06-12, 04:23 PM - Forum: Introduction - Replies (1)

Hi.
Another newbee has joined. I'm from Sweden and ride a first gen FZS1000. As my alternate bike I have an XT660X.
Beside my bike I'm also interrested in roadracing and join a group of crazy people to work as a track marshal at different
events. You can´t get closer than that. At the moment I want to do some mods to the fazer and hope I can get some
ideas and other from this site. This will be all for now, but I will be back later......

Best wishes

Vipera
