For sale a black S Reg 1999 Mark 1 Fazer 600. It is an insurance uneconomic repair, so Cat C.
It is repairable for a cost of circa £800, if frame not bent. Or could be stripped for parts. Or use the engine for some other project.

You will need to arrange collect from West London area.

  FZS600 Down pipes
Posted by: rocketman59 - 17-06-12, 09:24 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (4)

Can anyone recommend best place for a set of down pipes in steel or stainless steel for FZS600 2002. Existing pipes blowing in two places where 4 go into 1. Looks like they have been repaired before with patch welded near to junction into single pipe. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks rocketman59....

  Gen2 front fork travel ?
Posted by: locksmith - 17-06-12, 05:52 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (6)

Been setting up the suspension following this guide, http://www.gostar-racing.com/information...set-up.htm

All is well and this mornings "test session" was one of the best rides I've had on the bike in quite some time Smile

My question, is how far will the front forks travel? Do they completely go to the bottom of the chrome tube or will they stop before this?
I ask because the man say's to get the cable tie to stop around 10mm from the bottom of the travel. I've got it about 15mm but the preload is virtually right out and me being 14 stone in me undies I'd have thought I would need a fair bit of preload for my weight and I'm wondering if I am in fact bottoming out.

  MOT Soon
Posted by: Fazer Jake - 17-06-12, 05:22 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (2)

My question is, both front and rear discs are grooved, the front is slightly but the rear is quite bad. When i bought the bike it passed MOT with advisory with a grooved rear.

  Hello lads and ladies!
Posted by: Tommy600 - 17-06-12, 04:22 PM - Forum: Introduction - Replies (4)

Hi lads and ladies. Just a short intro. I'm Tom, 22, from Cardiff and I've recently acquired a 2003 Fazer 600 that's been standing for the last 6 years.
Hope to use this forum for some friendly advice and get a bit of knowledge on the girl.  Smile  Probably should mention I'm yet to do my full licence, though getting the bike has given me more of an incentive! Need to get it done this summer due to the laws changing next year. Oh to be young!  :'(
