has anyone got one of these fitted to their bikes? and how much does it cost initially, and yearly subscription?

FZS600 Fazer 98-03 K&N Air Filter for sale.

Brand new, still in box (with stickers etc). Surplus to requirements. . a bargain at £16.00 + P&P

Hi - Time to change the chain and sprockets on my '98 FZS600 - Now before I get flamed too much    when the bike was new I would have happily lowered the gearing for a bit more hooning but to be honest I am now in my mid 40's, planning on doing some euro tours later this year and find the current standard gearing a little too low for my riding style.


So I would appreciate any advice from people who have highered the gearing a little, what sprocket combo worked best? Did it dramatically affect the bikes riding characteristics etc


Any advice and feedback gratefully received

The reason I'm posting this, is to spread the news that yes, now and again you can find a genuine bargain!  :eek

Twice now, I've bought a pair of Pazzo-style levers for £24 from Hong Kong and twice I've been absolutely delighted with the product. The first time I bought these was for my CBR600 and to be honest with you, I wouldn't have been surprised if they had never arrived or if they were a load of cheap tat. But they did arrive and they look great!!

They fitted to the CBR with no problems whatsoever and so I decided to order a pair for the FZS. They arrived after a week and as before, they came superbly packed and went onto the bike without a single hitch. How the hell can you beat that for £24? Even if you only wanted some new levers to replace your battered old ones, these are a perfect, cost-saving replacement.

I heard about them in a bike magazine (copy attached). The levers are available in a very wide range of colours and sizes and are available to fit most bikes.

Recently fitted a SP carbon can on my FZR, since fitting my bike had a developed a vibration around 4800-5500 RPM, not all the time and seems to be worse when hot,

the vib is felt most in the right foot peg, I cant really feel it thru the bar or anywhere near as bad on the LHS, i ve check the exhaust for leaks and also checked the cener stand is sitting snug on the new link pipe ?? the ped also apears solid with no loose fittings

Is something to do with the engine/carbs etc ??? do i need a tune or something ?? im pretty new to this all
My bike is also fitted with a 25kw restrictor 

Just wondering if any other grab handles fit on the fazer instead of the standard one that goes all the way around? Would like individual sporty looking handles that aren't joined.

Found a video of this exhaust on youtube.  Its sounds really good but would it be too loud to get away with in the UK?

Fazer FZS600 FUEL Exhaust

my mate came to buy my fzs 600 (2000) model today and it for the first time start! totally dead not even instrument lights! it jump started and ran allright but the speedo clock was going crazy after a 10 minute run I stopped the engine and the instrument lights had afaint glow, it had to be jump started and was ok unless you knocked he lights off, it would then sound rough and stutter a bit. I had just washed it.


Battery?
Water?
Both?


Please help
