I'm going on our darts team day out to Ayr races tomorrow. 9am start, vodka for breakfast etc etc then the minibus driver phones Beth to come and pick me up sometime between 10pm and midnight  Smile Big Grin :z :\ :o .

Is there anyone in 'the know' who can advise me on a winner please.

Cheers, Russ

tail pack ? or another suggestion?
Posted by: Enceladus - 21-06-12, 11:22 PM - Forum: General - Replies (15)

as i play in a brass band, i'd love to be able to go to rehearsal on my bike (fortunately i play the cornet not bass!)
does anyone know of a tail pack or similar that would hold my cornet ?
needs to be 400x350x170mm minimum.
i'm tempted by the hard luggage (givi, etc.) but i can't justify the expense.
any help would be appreciated Smile

Soundracer V8 - gadget - silly but fun
Posted by: Gingernutz - 21-06-12, 09:30 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (7)

In a moment of drunken ebayery a couple of us bought a Soundracer V8
Like the one seen here:
Shonky and the SoundRacer V8
[Image: 24112173_500x500_1.jpg]
It was a laugh for a few trips in the VW Polo - sitting with the stereo on 10 and watching the looks of people as th V8 burbled away. The downside is I will probably knacker the ancient engine driving around in the lowest gear possible.
We paid £30 posted - so who wants it next? £20 posted sound fair? Its in perfect knick so grab a silly bargain.

For me, there's nothing more disappointing than riding for miles and pulling up to a chuck-wagon, only to find that I've no cash with me  :eek .  It's the thing of nightmares!!

So here's my underseat solution  :lol :lol :lol

  Circuit repair for clock bulbs?
Posted by: GrahamB - 21-06-12, 09:06 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (4)

Does anyone know if it is possible to repair the connection to the small bulbs inside the clocks? Most of mine do not work & I have replaced all the bulbs. Noticed for the first time last night, nothing lights up on the rev counter side at all & speedo is very dim.

Can anyone suggest any decent bulbs for my fzs600 1999 headlight/s, Recently bought the bike and the headlight is about as bright as a candle, i have heard of wiring mods that can be done, but my electrical side of things is pretty much zilch  :o , cheers, Chris.
