  Gearbox lube on FZ6?
Posted by: D4Delta - 26-08-12, 04:35 PM - Forum: FZ6 / Fazer - Replies (4)

Sounds like a daft question, but I'll ask anyway. On all my bikes in past years engine & gearbox have had their own oil. No mention of gearbox lube in my 2008 FZ6 handbook though. Does it share engine oil, is it packed with grease, or what? Enlightenment would be appreciated!

  Price of "Rocket" fuel

Noticed the cost of Shell unleaded has been steadily rising the last couple of weeks-it was 137.9ppl yesterday in Birmingham. If I was a cynic I might think it was to exploit the late summer bank holiday motorists/riders, but they wouldnt do a thing like that would they? :'(

  Rear spring

Has anyone tried the progressive springs on the market ?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hyperpro-Progr...416wt_1186
I guess starting soft and progressively getting harder (ooh Mrs Jones)

I presume all bikes are sold with a rear spring strong enough for two up or the big hairy fat bastard :lol ,, but what about light weights?, do we have to be bounced around? Smile
