Riding on Sunday i have a reason to report a car for dangerous driving.
Who do i contact, the constabulary in which the incident happened or my local police or 101 or is there another way.
Many thanks

I've finally found a helmet that ticks all my boxes, pinlock, double D and fits with my glasses, it's a bit more expensive than I had hoped to pay, but it fits well and works on the 3 levels above so I'm happy. I've not bought it as yet, thought I would do some asking around first.
I know it's all subjective, but what are peoples' general views (if any) on this helmet?
Noise, leaks, comfort, durability etc etc?
Cheers

I have kind of asked this before - so let me put it another way - has anyone fitted ace/ clubman bars to a Mk1 fzs600 whilst retaining the fairing?
I like the look of the fairing but would like a more forward ' sportier ' riding position and am toying with the idea of ace bars , I know I may have to lower/ move forward the fairing ( which I don’t mind doing) but don’t fancy the all out clip on bars approach.
I would be interested to know if anyone has tried this, if the cables and brake lines were ok as standard or needed replacing and if it changed the handling for the better or worse .
Or am I better leaving the upright riding position as it is and accepting it isn’t a sporty bike !!
I await the onslaught of abuse. lol

Hello Folks,
Firstly just to quickly introduce myself: I'm Andy and I've recently become the proud owner of a 2002 FZS 600 Fazer. My first big bike and I absolutely love it. So pleased I chose the Fazer.
Anyway, having been reading these forums I've become aware of the problems many people have reported with the front sprocket nut.
I'm a little concerned about this and would like to begin by checking my own bike to see if the nut is secure.
My question for now is: does the cover to the front sprocket require a gasket seal? Or can I safely remove this at home and have a quick peak?
It's been a long time since I've done any motor mechanics so please consider me an amateur. Is this something I can check myself?
Also any hints on what I should look for to confirm if it's OK or has old/new part appreciated.
All the best, Andy

I'm now 24 and bikes are kind of in the family, I've just been a late bloomer. About a month ago I decided I was sick of my car being unreliable, so started researching into bikes again - I first did this about 5/6 years ago. So I decided I'd get a bike license and keep cycling to work until that was achieved (16 mile round trip, in the winter = not fun).
So I've done my theory, my CBT, my module 1, and in a week I have module 2. Yesterday I bought a 1999 Fazer 600, so I'm now joining the forum, so I can be a part of this madness and learn lots about the bike!
That's all summarised, I've spent many evenings poring over bike reviews, internet recommendations, and insurance comparison websites to find out what I could afford! I'll hopefully do the entire thing, CBT, DA, bike and insurance for about £2000 tops, and NOT have bought a complete shed!

what have I let my self in for now !
Been with my betterhalf for more than eight years now and Thursday was her birthday not a little one but the big 40
I cant complain as I am 4 years older
well her bday came and she had told me about a gold charm she had years ago shaped like a lava lamp we had both hunted hi and low but were unable to find one , so I had one made at considerable expense I might add !
I took the night off from the fire station and we went for a meal along with a Sponge Bob Square Pants bday cake !
anyway Saturday came And at dinner time while being quizzed as to why I was buying wine , especaily as I dont drink, I told her I had booked a romantic meal for two that night and the wine was for the baby sitter !
well as we arrived at the restaruat
she walked through the door to be met by 20 of her closeest friends and family ! ( evil laugh from me)
she had no idea I had managed to oganize the meal with out her finding out a bonus for me ! and suprising !
well the night ended up with a proposal from me to which she agreed !
so mrs snapper will soon become the real mrs snapper !
this was this saturday and I am aready being asked if we has set a date yet and the invites are arriving fast to go to wedding fairs !
god help me !
Just nipping out on my bike dear back in ten minutes , or some time late this evening ! LOL
