We (well Ian mostly) is suffering severe wallet pains as a result of my boy's disagreable Pegaso 650. Cutting a very long story short, the carb isn't pulling fuel through. We sent it to a carb man who said idle screw was broken and a few other bits were apparently worn out and he refurbed it for £155. When it came back after successful bench testing our tame mechanic said it still wouldn't run. He's talking to the carb man and we're awaiting the outcome but it's all been such a pain, we don't hold out much hope. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Thanks.

just been looking on gumtree at a ninja 600 and the number plate is tiny, like all the 7 letters/numbers on it are all in the same line ,but it DOES suit the look of the bike .
i know im in for a bloody good flaming now ,where all of you tell me you need a standard size one for the police number recognition camera to pick up proper size letters on plate ,blah , blah , but has anyone here got a small one :lol :lol and if so ...ever had any trouble with the rozzers ?
right , let the flaming begin :b

Hey everyone,
My first post!
So I just bought my bike, an old Gen I. Everything seemed to be working well, until recently when the oil pressure light starting coming on.
I went back to the shop, and they added about 300ml of oil, and the light went away.
Soon enough though, the oil level dropped from above the max level on the sight window, to its current position between the max and min levels, and had stayed that way since.
However, yesterday, the light started coming on again. It turns on even when I'm just riding along on flat stretches, and will often just turn itself off after a while (within 3 minutes).
So, I suspect I am dealing with a faulty sensor? Is this something to worry about if the oil does never drops below the min level in the sight window?
How should I go about finding out the cause of this warning light turning on?
Thanks guys!
regards,
michael

I have for sale a set of Engine Bars for a MK1 600 Fazer. They have been on a bike but are in good, clean, tidy condition with no rust or flaking paint. They come complete with all the associated fittings but unfortunately no instructions but are very simple to fit.
Looking for £30 plus postage or you can collect from Leicestershire if interested.
Regards, Lez
