Just in the process of reading a book about Cornish mining anecdotes. a God fearing mine Captain William Petheric, claimed that he shat neither thick nor thin but the middle way !
Not sure if thats the same as being regular in habit

  Acciden then engine knock
Posted by: bwizz - 12-10-12, 09:04 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (9)

I had a low speed accident today , my Fazer (600) ended up on its side. damaged generator cover and fairing
Worrying thing was, when I eventually started it (It had flooded) there was a loud big end bearing type knocking noise, could be something catching the damaged generator cover but the noise sounded deeper in the engine .
After a short ride home "no choice" the noise has gone and engine sounds sweet . worrying though!
The other thing is despite the other driver being at fault , i'm sure i can't prove it ! Despite the fact that I have protected no claims, i'm sure to have to pay big time next insurance renewal !
I was thinking to sort out my own damage thinking that the other driver (minimal damage on his vehicle) would not claim.
He says that he is putting in a claim. I suppose that the Fazer might be written of and I be offered it back
anybody been this way?

  Engine bars
Posted by: cfoley - 12-10-12, 12:24 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (6)

I'm thinking of getting engine bars for my FZS600 and the Yamaha dealer recommended Rentec:
http://www.renntec.co.uk/yamaha_fzs600_f...ngine_bars

Before I go ahead, does anyone know of any other options or other products that would help protect my bike if I drop it?
