Does anyone know how to sort out a few issues I'm having?
If I use my iPad to access this forum I have to double tap to read the threads. One tap to open each category but two to open the thread?
Also if I open a thread with a photo on the first page it flashes back and forth to the category page really fast and doesn't stop till I tap on another thread?
Any ideas???

hi all!
Been lurking for a year now and I have gotten away with not registering because if I do I know I'll get suckered into posting shite every week! :rollin So here we go!!
I've had my Fazer for 1.5 years now. I'm living in Ireland. The bike originally came from the UK. It has a KPH face on it. 0-220kph I think. But it is reading in mph!! Weird. It is pointing at 100kph but I am travelling near on 100mph.
I seen this post a while ago and it got me thinking - "cos mine's an import bike and it has a special gizmo hidden in the connector box under the tank that converts KM to Miles by transmitting 5 pulses out of every 8. The speedo reads only MPH but has an "MPH" sticker over the original "KPH". It reads up to 220MPH!"
Is there a way I can switch my bike back to pointing at KPH? Any tutorials online on it?

ok my search for good gear is a mess
started after i posted i cant find 100% waterproof for me this means a 10mile ride to work without wet arms and bollocks
item 1 rst jacket and pants from Hrs Bristol label 100% waterproof Cost £110 and £70
leaked in the chest zip and crutch
returned to shop and got all the rubbish about never had one come back
item 2 frank thomas x terrain £149 jacket £129 pants 100% waterproof J&s Jacket was ok small leak to right arm and pockets filled up with water pants were usless
took them back refund and changed for Revitt gear of similar price from fowlers failled big time leaked everyware
so two weeks ago bit the bullet and in 30 years riding spent the most i ever have on bike gear
item 3 Held touring jacket £299 gortex matching pants £299 for get geared
i have had better results with bin liners there were worse that the rst's
10miles is all i need to stay dry and to me as proved it dont matter if cheap or expensive im going to get wet
the only saving grace is my held ride recommended 39 quid over suit which is 100% waterproof but takes like 6 hours to get on with a month of planning
so any idea's

So the time has come to keep my pinkies toasty warm and have been looking to invest in some heated gloves, been looking at the Gerbing T5 (read quality had dropped since they moved production) and also the Biketek gloves, both really top of the price range. Was looking at my local Yamaha dealer today and saw a pair of Oxford Inox gloves for about £40 cheaper than the other,s but can,t seem to find any reviews on them, has anybody had any experience with these or can give me some good feedback on the other gloves mentioned or in fact any heated gloves.
Regards Adrian
