In car casette to iphone, ipod, MP3 player
#1
Does anyone here use these and can recommend a good make. There's a few to choose from, with reviews both good and bad. Bad reviews are mostly poor sound quality, bad connections or noisy spools.

It's just going to get used it the car.

:lol  Believe it or not, my car has one of these antiquated audio devices built into the dashboard  :lol

I use one of the "Cassette-to-Iphone" thingies and it works superbly! During very quiet passages of music (RARE), you may hear the cassette spools, but other than that, it's all good.

Mine's a Panasonic SH CDM10B...

It doesn't make a huge difference which one you pick as you will be converting from Digital on the MP3/iPhone etc to Analogue on the cassette so will lose quality.

I had one of these years ago when Portable CD players first came out.

This one got some good reviews.

I've since found out that some use a rubber wheel to tension and some use a real tape mechanism, and that the tape ones are better in terms of noise.

Anyhow it's not like they cost a lot of money  :rolleyes I just don't want something nasty that grunts and squeeks turning up throught the post.

Your Panasonic SH.... Is it a tape type?
