| Water inside swing arm? |

Had my tyres replaced on Friday. As I watched the mechanic remove the rear wheel, a lot of water ran out of one side of the swing arm. Difficult to tell how much, but from the size of the puddle and the time it took to stop draining, I'd say about a cup full.
Anyone seen this before?
This can only be rainwater, but should I be concerned about it? Should I be trying to locate the inlet and plugging it, or maybe drilling a drain hole?

Looking at buying an FZS, and was wondering if there was anything I should be looking for? As far as I can see throughout the model life span there wasn't a massive amount of difference, just the later ones had black painted engines and swingarms, and some didn't have a headlight switch? Anything else I've missed there?
Not really sure what I'm looking for price wise really either as there's a fair bit of variation. My preference would be for a black engined one as I feel they look a lot tidier, and I really like the black/red fading paintwork on the 05 (?) models - would also match my leathers then :lol
There's a few though that are higher milage and pretty cheap, what are the engines like on these things for long life? There's a couple with about 30k miles, later black engined models that look pretty tidy for about £2300 ish, how's that sound? It's either that or go for a black/red one without 20k miles for £3000 ONO.
I'll be getting a test ride before I buy anything (or possibly because of my age my dad may have to) - is there anything FZS specifically related I should look for/test for before buying? I'm quite mechanically inclined so not too worried about having to do a little bit of work to a bike I should buy, if it were cost effective for me to do it.
Ta fellas,
Joe

Hi Guys,
My gen 2 2002 fazer 600 has started playing up yesterday.
It was a very wet day yesterday and while out on my bike it started misfiring and only running what I think is either 2 or 3 cylinders.
it was running rough at tickover and when trying to accelerate it wound not pull and was misfiring badly, I thought it might be dampness so I made it home and put it in garage,
I started it this morning and it seems to run on four cyclinders on tickover but when I go out on it, it seems to be misfiring so I have put it back in garage , any ideas would help, thanks

Hi All.
It would be a great Christmas if someone could help me here.
When I put my indicators on - the rear one flashes correctly but the front one flashes on the opposite side. So:
If I indicate right. rear right indicator and front left indicator flashes
If I indicate left, left rear indicator and front right indicator flashes.
I assume this happened after a secondhand headlight and wiring loom was fitted about 6 weeks ago - and I must have only just noticed it. (Cannot see this happening overnight).
It must have be put back together incorrectly. As the guy is not around, would anyone be able to tell where the fault is likely to be? I don't really know where to start.......
Regards

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all of you.
Used to be a member of the 'old' site but just re-registered here. Had 40k fantastic miles on my Mk1 fazer so far.
Ride safely

how do you go about tracing your old bike?
I would like to find out where my old Fazer 600,03 model is. sold it in 09.
I've tried the DVLA but can't find the link.
