Posted by: Spudda - 18-03-13, 11:42 PM - Forum: Introduction - Replies (3)

Howdo ..... Fleeting visit by me as I'm selling a FZS600 on behalf of a friend and It was suggested I tried you guys ..... It's not all bad, I am a biker riding a Daytona and did once own a Thundercat  :lol

Anyway, I'm a Wolverhampton lad who likes his ride outs in to Wales and frequents the local bike meets and cafes

I'm off to the classifieds but if anyone is considering a Fazer, knows none who's after a Fazer, then please take a look at the ad http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,6816.0.html

Ticking before I start the bike.
Posted by: xlewisbdx - 18-03-13, 11:25 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (32)

So I come to the bike in the morning stick the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position. Before I press the start buttton it makes a ticking noise and gets faster and faster then stops. It lasts about 1-2 seconds.

Is it normal?

  Heated grips!
Posted by: alexanderfitu - 18-03-13, 01:06 PM - Forum: General - Replies (25)

After fitting my Tech 7 grips (and doing the how to guide for them) they have died.

The left grip has worn through to the heating element where I grip the bar, and the right ones cable has come loose and has an intermittent connection.

Not impressed seing as I have done less than 500 miles on them! Busters want me to send them back for a replacement, which is a pain becuase I will have no grips, and they will obviously replace with the same lot that are equally as crap.

Can anyone make any recomendations for heated grips that actually last?
