Can anyone explain how I f*cked this one up? Left side, after first 3 km ride this year.  :'( New chain installed during winter, maybe f*cked up the rear wheel alignment? Nothing else thankfully broke. Hopefully my local dealer has a spare. I'm sick and tired of driving a car.

My Gen1 1000 failed its MOT today because on full lock the handguards, ( the ones that are meant for a V Strom), touched the screen by a minute amount. To get it to pass I removed them while the MOT guy waited. So if you have any handguards fitted just check they do not foul.
The MOT guy said most bikes he fails are for aftermarket parts such as exhausts and lights.

Have any of you had experience with an Interphone F3 Bluetooth set?  I recently picked up a pair to replce my old Cadio equipment.  Pairing wasn’t a problem and neither is using my unit in conjunction with my  SatNav.  In fact when using the phone, which works through the SatNav, the sound is exceptionally clear both ways.  However, I have a few issues in using them with a passenger as follows;
* The connection for chatting with the passenger should be voice activated but the channel from the passenger to me stays open all the time.  I can hear the constant ’hiss’ and I eventually had to turn my unit off because the wind noise in my speakers from my passengers unit became too loud.
* My passenger can hear me at a standstill but as soon as the bike exceeds 20mph or so I cannot be heard.
Anyone got any ideas?

I just bought a Simmi oval, stainless, removable baffle can but I must be getting old as I prefer the standard can! So it's up for sale if anyone is interested, only been on the bike about a week so obviously like new.

Like the title, just want to know what caps I need? Went into my local dealer and he showed me this

Ok. So I had an account in New York and asked them to close it down and send me a cheque for the balance.
So far so good.


Went to my local Halifax, where I have had an account for 10 yrs., and asked them what was involved in paying in my $ cheque (over 10k)


At first they told me it would be £7.50 and take about two weeks to clear. OK says I, and paid it in.


Then they said it would cost anywhere between £15 and £80, but they were unable to tell me exactly ???????????  WTF ???


Anyway, as my options were limited, I paid it in.






Now, over a week later, I received a call from them this morning to say that my cheque had been returned from head office, uncleared, because........................................ there was not enough activity on my account ????????????


So let me get this correct.  I want to pay them to clear funds into my account......... a normal banking function........... but I apparently
don't qualify for their services because they will not allow me to execute a banking function????




Its no wonder we fucking hate them.

HI All, I have a 98 Fazer the idle speed is a bit high at 1500 rpm, the cable that adjusts it is seized, is there any other way to bring the idle speed or would I be better and just leave it alone as the bike is going well. It has almost 58000 miles on it.
