  Power problem!
Posted by: Young rider - 24-04-13, 09:14 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (11)

Riding with my lights on for about 20 mins the lights go dim and all the dash is losing power intill and rev it up to about 3000rpm and everything powers up, but when I turn my lights off the battery charges up and there just enough to get her going again.

Would you say there charging fault or the battery is on it's way out?

Also today the bike fan kicked in.

  carbon panels fron Zero Limits
Posted by: jabbascot - 24-04-13, 08:14 PM - Forum: General - Replies (6)

Just a piece of advise for anyone thinks of buying carbon panels from Zero Limits DON'T.

I ordered 7 panels from them in early February got 3 right away and was  told MAX of 40 days for rest . now 80+ DAYS LATER I just keep getting fobbed off "customs ,missing orders etc" was promised side panels delivered today 24/4/13 and surprise surprise no sign.

Re the air box covers they say don't know when they will come, but asap !.

when you complain  all you get is "your patience is appreciated ". this is the worst deal I have ever had on a internet order and I cannot say loud enough do not use. >: >: >:

Something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Angel-Road-Plus/dp/B000NVSXDC

Be hard to mod it to work on a bike?

It could be hard wired into the ignition i suppose?

My rear brake pedal has quite a bit of movement in it before it engages, is there a way to adjust the pedal?

Why don't Police riders hang off the seat?
Posted by: slimwilly - 24-04-13, 06:30 PM - Forum: General - Replies (77)

Is i correct that police riders always stay sat on the middle of the seat and lean the bike in and trust the tyres?

That is actually how i ride, i have not as yet started to slide down the seat and hang my knee out, i have nearly got rid of my chicken strips, only about 5mm left until the edge and we have not had a warm ride out yet.I feel very confident riding these bikes ,these FZ1s do give you alot of confidence in corners.
