Posted by: purplebear7 - 01-05-13, 01:34 AM - Forum: General - Replies (3)

:b  Hi Guys,
Just checking out the Line Dancing at the Brum Bike Shed .. there is an 'All White' Gen1 in the photo shoot .. looks like it might have a truck load of Yellow Soft Bags Kit and a caravan selection of screen stickers?

I also had an All Ice White Gen 1 job for a few years  2003 to 2005 ..  I had a full second set of of bodywork plastics painted up for me by Top Gun .. a very recently returned to biking member  :eek

Can someone please identify the current Owner for me please  8)  I need to contact him / her.

All info and any help will be very welcome.  Stay Safe Y'all  Wink    Trev

  Quick K-Tech fork spring question
Posted by: FuZzBoM - 30-04-13, 11:15 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (14)

Just looking to order a set. are the 9.5N springs the firmest ones? I am about 18 stone fully kitted up so standard is too soft.
Already have a hyperpro spring on rear shock and that has greatly improved it. was tempted to order Hyperpro for front but as the k-tech get a good feedback on here decided to go with them.

Also any info on fork oil weight would be good.

cheers

Breaking in new gloves your experiences
Posted by: dBfazer600 - 30-04-13, 06:14 PM - Forum: General - Replies (4)

Had my Alpinestars Road Tech about 3 weeks and I is getting cramps in my hands, particularly my accelerator hand along with cold hands. The fingers are long for my short and stumpies but the palm fit is correct. I just wondered how long it takes you guys and gals to break new gloves in and how you do this along with types of gloves recommended.

After finding out I had a bike originally meant for France thanks to Dddddaves post I have a couple of questions.
Are the restrictors attached to the carb tops, kind of tophat shaped with a spring going into the middle of them,?
Is this the only restriction , the bike is a 2001 model FZS 1000.
