Question for you more experiencing bikers...

I was checking my tyres the other day and noticed I don't have any chicken strips on the front (it's not a brag honest!).
The thing is I don't feel like I have been leaning the bike to the limit, I.e pegs down, but if I'm already on the edge of the front,
if I try and lean further, won't I be going beyond the tyre limits?

Michelin pr3 tyres by the way.
I don't recall ever not having chicken strips on the front with previous tyres.

I hope all of you are well.
I bought FZS1000 around a week ago. She born in 2003 and she has got 13000 miles in the clock with service history. Still young. 


I was Kawasaki ZX-9R owner previously. I loved her as well. But I want to own a more comfy bike with same power. I found I think.  8)

7 years. I love it

Yup in desperate need of the above for a FZ 600 -- seeing as I am refurbing a totally grotty and once unloved Fazer 6 one is in need of a stand --coz wook wants to polish his bit ermmm as in swing arm and pop the forksout for a full overhaul and yup a POLISH 
can any of the wise and not so wise be able to oblige -- dont even mind overseas postage costs -

Can anyone help me with this problem I am having with my 2003 FZS600? For the last 2 weeks, every time I open it up, there is a clunking coming from the back end.  This can be felt through the seat and left footpeg and only occurs under drive.  There is no noise when coasting or slowing down.  I couldn't see anything wrong, so I've had the back wheel out, and one of the wheel bearings was a little noisy (30,000 miles on it), so I've swapped them out, but the clunking is still there.  The front sprocket nut is solid (I've had that come off before) and there is no movement in the swingarm. The chain and sprockets are fairly recent and the chain looks to run over the sprockets smoothly when turned by hand. I've seen some other posts about tight links in the chain, but judging by the amount the chain jumps about on the main stand (about 100mm), I think it is something more serious or is this how bad it gets with a tight link? I don't want the hassle of taking it to the dealer if I can fix it, but I've run out of ideas!
