Want to blow my wheels in. Does anyone know the colour of them? I was going to go with a satin black but not sure. I know Honda can get the offical colour of frames and paint for there models but not sure if yamaha can..

I have just got my brand new fairing from Yamaha The colour is silver storm, the darker 2004 silver.  The first thing i noticed was that the new fairing is noticeably lighter in colour. My bike was immaculate before the accident and was garaged, so there would be no chance of sun bleaching etc.. Has anyone else bought a new fairing and it doesn't match. I know that when you repaint it can be difficult to match. I thought it may have been the silver tech colour that is lighter. Is there any way of checking the paint code? The dealer ordered 'bluish silver 4, which i think is right.

Hi all,
Any idea why there is no tool provided to remove the front wheel and what do you guys use, went to use the bike today and the back tyre was flat, got a bloody nail in it!
Also any thoughts on only replacing the punctured tyre, I have pilot road ones on at the mo and obviously will have to get a new version looking at PR3 but can I just leave the front PR1 on as it has at least 2k of wear to go or should I bite the expensive bullet and replace the 2???

Hi guys,
  I havent run away, just got back from the TT yesterday, still buzzing, just wanted so say hello again and looking forward to some banter with the nutters on here.

This happened at beginning of the month and road very gently home as cleaning off did not work so road as I was scrubbing them. Been out once since but very wary riding as I is not sure if the rubber will be damaged and money is tight so no new tyres which means no riding if new rubber is required.  :'(

The vid shows me ranting and profanities so if that sort of thing upsets do not watch.

All advice welcomed as this is a new one on me.

Biker Road Side Rant 4 June 2013

Looking for help in plotting a route across the alps east to west. I will be starting in Slovenia and looking to pop out somewhere in France.

Anyone done something like this before and kept their route?  There is a thousand alpine roads to choose from and my head is dizzy from looking at maps.

Here are some pics of the Beemer for sale (if I've done the photo thing right).  It's being sold by an aquaintance (reliable type) and I rather fancy the bike myself but don't have time to fettle another bike. I understand it comes with a spare seat unit and the original mirrors. Details to follow tomorrow.
