  Screen question
Posted by: solorider - 01-07-13, 03:46 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (3)

I read somewhere that fitting a gen2 screen to a gen1 is better than getting a dedicated gen1 screen, how much work is involved into fitting the screen into a gen1?

Twin pipe exhaust for gen1 - do they exist?
Posted by: b1k3rdude - 01-07-13, 01:57 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (14)

Afternoon

Ive seen these (both pipes on the same side and/or a stubby) on other bikes of the same age as the gen1 and was wondering if anyone knew of any make/model etc. Found a picture online for something that looks similar (Its an animated gif)

  UK Border farce

or whatever they are calling themselves today. What a bloody joke.

Flew back from the eldest sons rugby tour last night (another very long story) and got to Gatwick at 1:20am. After the obligatory 3mile walk to immigration we find the queue is massive. Only half the desks open and takes 40 minutes to get through the feccin thing.

Surely its no surprise that the summer schedules have started and people will be arriving in the country. FFS, sort your act out.

IT was quicker for a south African travelling with us to get into MY country. It was quicker for a bloody foreigner to get in. No wonder we have so many bleeding immigrants here when they can get in easier than us!

  Stuff for sale
Posted by: fireblake - 30-06-13, 10:21 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - No Replies

How about when offering stuff of sale the seller could put what bikes it's for in the subject space, that way I won't keep looking at stuff for every other bike but mine?

Just a thought.

givi e45 panniers/top box for swap
Posted by: solorider - 30-06-13, 10:02 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - No Replies

I have a couple of givi e45 panniers which I would like to exchange for some e36 panniers, structurally they are good but they have the usual marks from use, one was used as a top box  and I had a high level light fitted on top, i filled those holes in, the other has the securing strap inside the box, both boxes are in perfectly good working order just that they are a bit too big for me and my bike. the keys are different between the top boxes

the box on the right of the picture has the securing straps still inside, the one on the left is the one I filled in some holes

managed to fit my wingrack sides for the panniers
Posted by: solorider - 30-06-13, 09:55 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - No Replies

I don't think it will move much as it is solid, but I need to get some e36 panniers as at the moment I have e45 which are huge and worse so as I had to space them out to clear bodywork etc
[Image: IMG_1235.jpg]

as you can see the width is huge
