First impressions very positive.  Perky engine,  firm gearbox although 1st slightly clunky.  Fueling is excellent and much better than my CBF600SA.  None of that judder when shutting the throttle off at low speed.  This is a known problem with some Honda bikes caused by the mixture being too lean. 


An all round excellent package.  Top box and rack on the way.  One decision to make is regarding the centre stand.  Do I or don't I.  I have asked the dealer to get me the two pins that are needed for the paddock stand.  Anyone use these? 


So far no complaints.  Off for a short ride in a few mins to see what the clocks look like in dusk.

After smacking into the back of a stationary car around a blind corner and dropping the bike on the right side,
my right indicator is not working.

The bulb is ok as is the wiring, however, the bulb for the sidelight has blown - that wouldn't cause the indicator
circuit to fail would it?

Currently replacing my spark plugs and seem to remember that its a good idea to pop a bit of grease on them.
What type is better?

Not yet had much chance to ride it as it needs to be restricted, such a pain!

mine is burning oil how much does yours use ?

After speaking to several policeman officers today I can confirm that as of this Thursday any vehicle not stopping at the first white line unde amber (debatable) and red light conditions thus entering and stopping in the bike box at traffic lights in London can and will be fined £60 and given 3 penalty points on their license by CCTV!


Up until now this would only happen if an officer was present at the time of the offence- you have been forewarned!

So youre wondering why im on this forum.  Well, I know this might seem a blatant plug, :o but I (and Russ (MV312 and ZX6)) started a trackday company this year called trackdayevents and wanted to offer your forum members 10% off our upcoming trackday at Cadwell park on the 25th July.

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a cheap helmet camera?

I'm on a budget and so limited to the cheap ebay stuff, rather than brands like Go Pro or Drift etc.

I only really want it for for insurance purposes and so don't need great quality, just sufficient.

My main requirements are:

- Can charge and run permentently from bike battery (USB, cigerette lighter etc - I don't mind getting cables etc separately)
- Can record while charging
- Waterproof, or waterproof casing (unless suitable to be installed inside helmet)

And my wish list nice to haves would be:

- Rolling recording, so it records say past 1 hour on rolling basis
- Starts recording automatically when powered on

Any recommendations, advise, suggestions welcome.
