Does anyone know what the black plastic diamond shaped with cut outs on the top half is in the plumbing system next to a storage heater?

Had a great time with a mate watching BSB at Oulton Park, saw a fair few Fazers out there, anyone go?

Good day to you all. I've just acquired my first bike, an FZS600 '02. The bikes ready to go but it would appear it was previously owned by a dwarf!? The seat has been shaved and is pretty uncomfortable, but I was wondering if anything may have been changed to lower the rear of the bike, I can stand over it comfortably with space between me and the seat? I'm 6'3 but surely there shouldn't be that much of a gap? Any advice or tips would be much appreciated. Cheers

After finding some marks on my screen I decided to have a play and see what it would be like shorter. Overall I'm quite impressed, less buffeting around the head which in turn makes it appear quieter.
Easy to hold 95 mph as opposed to 80 on a true naked bike, I'm going to leave it for a while see how I get on with it.

selling a car to a trader in 1/2 an hour do I just complete the yellow section of the V5 or section 6 too (new keeper details), the advice on the back is a bit wooly?

Good ride out this morning sadly spoilt by the €100 fine I have to pay for filtering at the lights, there reasoning is I either crossed a solid white line or failed to allow a distance of 1.5 mtrs between me and the cars I was passing, even though I was just about moving, feet down etc! Okay I was in the wrong but come on tell me this is not all about making money. One good thing out here is if I pay within 20 days I get a 50% discount, Anything to help the Spanish economy lol.  :'( :rollin :lol

Includes arms & all bolts, along with an M5 plate. Selling as I have downsized to the FZS 600 & it no longer fits.
In good condition but Italian build quality  means the usual bit of rust here & there....

Wazzzon, Just got myself a 2003 fazer 600 with 15k on the clock, fsh, 2 owners. Chuffed to bits with it after riding around on my faithful old XJ600N for the past 8 years.
Couple of quick questions. Id like to fit a double bubble screen to it ( after next pay day  :rolleyes ), was thinking of the powerbronze jobby. How easy is it to fit these ? I take it you have to remove the fairing to get at the bottom plastic nuts holding the original screen on.
Also ive set the rear shock preload at 4 ( it was set at 9 when i got it), Im a mere 10 stone, does that sound about right ?


Looking forward to learning a lot from this site and joining in with all the banter.
