thankfully when i spoke to them they could see it on their system, but still have to go through the ballache of re-applying and not knowing if i'm allowed to drive the bus until i get clearance!

theres a bloke on the busa forum called aitch who makes carbon cans/link pipes and they are proper nice..hes moving workshops so selling a few off cheapish, mine turned up today for me cb1300/cb1100rc rep, easy fit, fuels lovely with no loss off bottom end, nice burble without being offensive even without the road legal baffle fitted, and a looker to boot. all for just over 200squid posted..he trades under jc exhausts from near chesterfield if anybodies looking for summat..sorry the bracket looks hastily fitted(it was i couldnt wait to get out and try it) have since took it off and sorted it once i could stop riding...

Hi guys, I've put 475cc/ml of oil in the fork with the spring etc out of it, and that amount of oil is no way near enough?


I's about 280mm down from the top with 500ml in, whereas my Haynes manual says it should be 121mm from the top!


If I put any more in I won't have enough for the other fork, and while I could buy more I think I must be missing something that's making my level so low. I'm measuring this with the fork tube fully compressed into the slider (as far as I can get it to go anyway)


Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Firstly, while this is my first post, I spent a lot of time on here reading articles etc before buying my X reg fzs600, thanks for all your inadvertent help 


Long story short, I bought my bike in June, came off it due to an old lady not seeing me in July, bought a replacement fairing, got a garage to fix it and eventually got it back.


Problem is the Garage weren't great and the sidelight is no longer wired into anything. I just have the lead coming out the bottom of the fairing but nothing to connect it to. 


Should the connector be behind the speedo etc between that and the fairing? I went back to the garage who did the work but they were useless and I didn't want to be without the bike for any longer while they tried to figure it out.


If someone could confirm where I should be looking that would be great, if someone has pics too of where that would be awesome. I just want my bike back as it was,
