Osram night breaker plus H1 + H4 bulb set
Posted by: Craiginuk - 11-09-13, 10:48 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

Sort your Fazer for the winter. I bought a set of each bulb but only needed 1 of each for my '99 FZS600.  So up for grabs are bulbs to sort an early fazer. Brand new and not been touched or manhandled. Not looking to make anything extra on the deal so £10 plus say £2 for postage would be fine. Cheers Craig.

Can the clever people on here describe the pro's and cons of putting one tooth less on the front sprocket?

  choke cable problem
Posted by: solorider - 11-09-13, 09:16 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (8)

I managed to buy a used switch asm for a choke lever, but the choke is very heavy to pull and it feels like the lever will break, the cable has some stiction but not over tight, I tried lubing the cable with no luck so I bought a new pattern cable and that feels rough, I haven't fitted it yet. also when I bought the switch it came with an extra item but I don't know where it goes, my original switch has nothing like it either, here is a picture of the offending item

any help would be appreciated

  New Bike...
Posted by: Kosmic Kartman - 11-09-13, 06:51 PM - Forum: General - Replies (7)

...I built for my nine year old daughter.

Pimp my BMX.  :lol She gets it on Friday after school.

Bike was a rusty pile of shite I picked up dirt cheap from a second hand junk yard.

Frame has been polished, new pedals, bell, sadle, grips, brake levers and front brake cable, rear sprocket, wheels and graphics have been added as well as bespoke matching mud guards. The basket and tassles I nicked off her old bike.

Total cost less than £80

  FZS 1000 Bits
Posted by: JoeRock - 11-09-13, 05:36 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (3)

Got some left over bits from my FZS1000:

Set of aftermarket Spazzo levers for it - long, silver, with black adjusters.
Set of black preload adjusters
Givi monokey rack and matching side rails for monokey panniers
Standard tyres off them, 120/70 and 180/60 - these might be okay for commuting on but were definitely not any good for my more agressive riding!

  Tyres
Posted by: lew600fazer - 11-09-13, 05:21 PM - Forum: General - Replies (12)

Okay I am sure this has been done to death.
I am coming across to England from Spain at the end of the month, sadly in the car. The price of tyres out here in Spain is extremely expensive , so while in the UK I was thinking might as well get some tyres to bring back out with.
What is the peoples choice, I have had PR2's on other bikes , my current Fazer is running Bridgestones BT 020, not keen on them truth be known. Never had PR2's on my other fazer I had anyone running PR2's. The PR3's look to be more rain suited.
been on e bay and some good deals on pairs anyone tried the Conti Road attacks £185 . front and back?
