now ive been a motor mech (not fitter but fixer) since my early teens
apprentice served on mk1 astras /cavaliers etc
i have used lucas products most of the time since then


i have it in my bmw car


i use it in my navara truck its in my wifes megane
so i thought why not try it in my bike
at this price it cant hurt if it dont work i just change it out


now i say cheap oil but i never seen it this price before thats about a quarter what i normally pay for this stuff for my cars


im a big fan of lucas products in general they are race tested products


any who thoughts on it

Driving the cage home from work last night, thought handling felt off... Checked this morning, rear tyre got virtually 0psi in it, plus a whacking great nail... Nae bother though, cos this mornings job was to put the winter tyres on, and in any case, its worn down to the tread markers so was going in the bin anyway!! Makes a change from getting a puncture when you've only just put the tyre on 

As the title suggests really, i'm after a black tank cover for my bike, in good nick please.

Has anyone put a set of wider and higher renthals on a naked FZ6. Want to fit a set for moto gymkhana but looking at all the cables, wiring etc there doesn't seem to be a cm spare, maybe there's a bit of spare tucked away underneath somewhere. If you've done it, where did you get the extra length on cables, wiring.

Does anyone know where I can get that carbon tank protector they made for the foxeye? it was hard carb and stuck on the tank?
also does anyone else use knee guard on the side of their tank?

Just thought I'd say hello.
Been a Fireblade rider for the last decade or so but as I'm approaching 50 I thought it's time to hang up the racing leathers and get something a bit more sensible. After the best part of 6 months I decided to go for a Kawasaki Z1000 and I was on the threshold of getting one till I stumbled across the 150bhp 06 naked FZ1.

Christ almighty, what a bike!

Anyway... It took me nearly 3yrs to turn my last Fireblade into a real head turner,
I'm intending to do exactly the same to this FZ1... only better.

Look forward to chatting and possibly meeting up at some point next year when the weather improves.
