Well, I was going to go to the DVLA local office to ask this question but apparently its been closed... so that was helpful, thank you very much
In any case, my previous 600 had a falling out with some fire. The frame is toast ( :lol ) and I don't believe its in a good enough condition to sell plus no bugger wants to have it for free. So I figured I'd scrap it so that I don't have to re-SORN it every year for the rest of my life. The catch is that I want to rescue the engine (this process is already under way) and I don't know if scrapping the bike will affect my ability to use the engine later on in a legal capacity.
Is it something completely stupid and I'm just worrying about nothing? Or do I have to go about some sort of process?
A quick Google search didn't yield any particularly helpful articles

any one any idea?!
I couldn't help noticing the huge disparity in prices between different makes of what are essentially just big plastic boxes. I wondered whether there was any justification (and, from a buyers point of view, whether it was worth spending the extra money) or whether you were just paying extra for the name. Is a Givi or Krauser (for example) top box or pannier stronger or more secure? A bit thicker plastic maybe but does that really matter?

Hi All,
I need a new rear tyre for the FZS00. I always had Pilot Road 2/3 on my old bike when I commuted, but now it's not used as much, and won't be used so much in the wet.
The current front tyre is a Pirelli Diablo III looking at the reviews, they seem a good tyre, and nice and cheap. Has anyone got any experiance of them? Should I put one on the rear to match?
Also, the front trye is a 120, the stock tyre should be a 110, shall I keep the one on the front or change it? The tyre is in good nick and doesn't need replacing, it's just the size difference. I take it that it's wider than the stock tyre?
Cheers

I've just bought some new leathers off Ebay, second hand. FAB condition, not a mark on them, zip together for Brands Hatch next month, £100! Not really looked into Frank Thomas, have I got a good deal? Just wondering. They seem like really good leathers to me, and very comfortable.
