I have now put an aftermarket can on but have left the cat in the downpipes for now. Is there any advantage in removing it that is worthhile? Also do you get an increase in noise level if you remove the cat?

So, managed to blag a Fazer Thou blue spot rear brake caliper (along with pads, hose, mounting bracket, master cylinder and reservoir). I've got a funny brake bleeding tube with ball bearing, but I've not actually done brakes before. Anyone local up for a bit of fettling and helping me fit it? (in exchange for some beers of course).

My rear tyre needs changing for mot (FZ6 07 plate) , I fitted Bridgestone BT021 after the originals wore out but front 021 only did 1500 miles and started to break up -shredding rubber (tyre fitter said it was a fault he was having loads of em ) so changed to Bridgestone 023,s but I considering a dual compound tyre on rear now for better wear , anyone tried one ?
Im gonna need it to be compatable with the front 023 , are they more expensive , whats best prices for them ?
