Problem at high revs
#21
It might be worth having another look in the float bowls. If cleaning the carbs fixed the problem briefly, perhaps they're getting filled with more crap somehow. Have you changed the fuel filter?

Does that happen at lower speeds as well (1st and 2nd gear)?
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.

This sort of statement is typical of a stealer mate don't ever go back in there they have absolutely no idea what their talking about............well they do to rip you off.  Mate the chances are it's just more crap in one of the jets, see if you can get your mate to whip the carbs off again and clean all the jets.

I've cleaned the tank and put a new fuel filter on it when the carbs were cleaned, it bogs in most gears mainly in 1 2 seems to do it at high speed in 6th and also sometimes on motorway when trying to increase speed the shop I took it to an said it could be carbs worn said I should just get some off eBay off a fairly low miles bike and fit them myself instead of getting a carb repair kit

I changed the oil and filter on mine today along with the air filter.
Prior to this it ran fine but didn't pull like I thought it should but I only got it Monday.
I also had to take 3 litres of oil out side to overfilling but the bike ran as above.
After changing the above items it now holds back at around 6,000 to 10,000 then pulls like a train better than before this is in all gears.
I can't see any pipes trapped either !!!!!.
Do you have similar issues

I would suggest its the air filter - swap back to your old one and see if it still happens. What was the new air filter you put in? Most (including myself) would recommend a K&N

It was the exact replica of the one that came out I couldnt give you a name.
The old one was contaminated with oil due to the overfill.
Its strange as when it does rev clean it's much stronger parts will be coming off lol
