 The R8 is a Marmite car in my opinion. Some people absolutely love it (one of my best friends included) and others think its nothing special  Don't be discouraged about posting ^^

I don't care about the r8. It was the stonking huge and powerful engine, glowing exhaust ports and flames that worked for me.

I cannot believe there were spectators who were only happy if they got to touch or get a limb broken by a car as it went by (according to the documentary I watched). They were fun, dangerous and insane years.
